I don't know if Trump himself or his advisors came up with the McDonalds and garbage truck bits, but they were both brilliant and effective.

The Libs started coming for our gas stoves last year, and next they'll be setting their sights on animal protein. Is anyone surprised? They won't be happy til we're all eating Soylent Green cooked in a solar-powered microwave.

Just as an aside, (sound familiar?) it was refreshing to hear callers on today’s show compliment Erick on his faith-over-politics approach.

I agree as a listener.

Speaking of faith, many voters are praying for a miracle this presidential cycle, in the hopes that their preferred candidate will win.

I recently listened to a sermon from Andy Stanley on just that subject: Miracles.

https://open.spotify.com/episode/12iWkdvF29SGWMxEEKSMY5?si=47RD_zv1QWuuwHWVCuGjtw

The takeaway from his preaching? When God performs a miracle, he does so to advance his will, his glory, even his wrath. (See the Great Flood, Sodom and Gammorah)

It is only by his will, and never ours, that we endure as a nation. That really, really puts things in perspective for me.

As another aside, I have actually witnessed miracles. How do I know?

I have a Samsung washer/dryer set that I bought in 2015. For 9 straight years, these appliances have cycled loads for a household of five, and they’re still going strong.

I’m fully convinced this was part of His will and He deserves all the praise.

To God be the Glory

Wow! How many years have black churches and other pro- Dem churches been running programs like souls to the polls and allowing democratic candidates to speak during services? No one has held their feet to the fire and the only reason Turning Point is being targeted is it looks like they have been effective for the Republicans. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/watch-harris-speaks-at-baptist-megachurch-in-georgia-on-her-60th-birthday

A student at the University of Michigan..... A Chinese National.... committed fraud and voted.... illegally.

Yet, somehow, the vote still counts.

WTF?

"Churches hosting Turning Point get-out-the-vote events likely violate tax law"- is there a similar violation in churches hosting, and endorsing, a constant stream of Democrat candidates?

This was my very first thought. We have been told that Harris is hitting a bunch of churches. Different standards?

Watching the World Series I was mentally flogging myself when the camera would go to the crowd and my mind said "those are the upper-class liberal progressives responsible for almost every current and past negative social and economic impact to middle class and lower class Americans". I found myself seething a bit just seeing them... mostly white people just having that look of upper class liberal progressive Manhattanites. I wasn't pleased with myself for thinking that way.

And of course, the electorate of Los Angeles is somewhat similar if not so much the make-up of MLB fans that fill Dodgers Stadium.

Given that the reasons for the 2016 election that went to Trump and the Republicans are amplified and inflated this election (remember that Obama's last two years of his second term the economy was actually doing well after six years of the Obama jobless recovery... and we did not have all the problems with the border and inflation and global conflict, etc.), if the Democrats pull out a win, it is going to be impossible for me to just accept that it is the will of the American people. It is going to be impossible for me to look at those upper class white New Yorkers and not consider them the enemy of this once greatest nation on God's green earth.

I think you were on to something in the last sentence of paragraph 1. These are fellow Americans doing non political fun stuff.

What? You don't think the classic Middle Class Family like Kamala's could plunk down $1200 a ticket for nosebleed seats or behind posts, for a family of 3 or 4 to attend the game? The economy has been GREAT!!! Oh, hold it, Kamala is going to the champion of the middle class... so the economy hasn't been great?

Well, she did come from a middle class family. (Allegedly)

Food Scientist here. I see there were only a few people with educational backgrounds in the field of nutrition. The human body needs protein, period. It also needs carbohydrates & fats. It doesn't matter how you achieve that. For protein: Beef, pork, alligator, crickets, beans, peas, seeds, nuts. Why remove soy as a main source? Remember that these are not all complete proteins & so must be paired with other foods that will make up the deficit. Remember to take into account the fat in each or these sources as well as nutrients & micronutrients. I choose for me, you choose for you, as Linda Gray pointed out. Is anyone in that group from the FS field? I suspect these are policy wonks & dangerous in their 'recommendations' for all of us. People will take this out of context & the 'Crazies' will continue to come out of the woodwork. Unfortunately, the so-called guidelines are followed by school systems for our kids. Remember the amount of food waste when M. Obama decided what our kids needed to eat? I'm over all of them. Kick 'em out.

Yes.... Michelle decided on the food our kids were going to eat in public schools.... and it was some horrid slop... all while her own daughters were served gourmet lunches at the private and exclusive Sidwell Friends School.

Beef will eat vegetation. I will eat beef. There you go Biden. Stay out of my kitchen.

The democrats are all about control. Vote.

Yes, stay out of my kitchen. Leave my food and my gas stove alone. They're mine. Not yours, Big Government.
