Biden Bombshell
Republicans in the House Oversight Committee issued subpoenas to four banks in an investigation into foreign payments to the Biden family. The findings point to 20 Biden-affiliated companies created while Joe Biden was Vice President that were aimed at enriching the Biden family through connections to foreign governments and entities.
New details: In a statement this morning, House Oversight Chairman James Comer alleged the Biden family was paid $10 million dollars during the process with Hunter Biden specifically making millions. Part of the claim was that Chinese nationals affiliated with the Bidens created limited liability companies whose ownership was then transferred back to Chinese companies. The records point to the Biden family and its associates’ attempts to conceal business dealings and payments from the Chinese and other foreign governments.
Bottom line: Comer claims that Hunter Biden and his company targeted countries for work that correlated directly with work Joe Biden was doing as Vice President. Watch the video here.
Trump & CNN
Donald Trump returns to CNN tonight for a highly anticipated town hall interview with Kaitlan Collins that is guaranteed to make headlines. This is Trump’s first appearance on the network since 2016.
Why this matters: The interview comes on the heels of a Manhattan federal jury finding Trump liable for the sexual abuse of writer E. Jean Carroll. While the lawsuit rejected the central accusation of rape, the jury awarded Carroll $5 million in damages for sexual abuse.

Debt Ceiling
President Biden met with the “big four” congressional leaders yesterday for an hour in an attempt to make progress surrounding the debt ceiling. Things did not go well.
Details: While Biden reiterated his position of not negotiating over the debt ceiling, McCarthy brazenly read old quotes from Pelosi and Biden about the need to negotiate over the debt ceiling. Later, Biden demanded to know why McCarthy’s plan cuts veteran funding by 22% which McCarthy flatly called a lie. Multiple reports claim a lingering tension between McCarthy and Biden.
Punchbowl reports that when McCarthy asked Biden a question, Schumer would respond prompting McCarthy to ask why the President was unable to speak for himself. The group reconvenes on Friday.
Tucker’s Back
Tucker Carlson announced his program will be moving to Twitter just two weeks after leaving Fox News. The news comes as Carlson’s lawyer sent a letter to Fox claiming the network was in breach of contract, freeing Carlson from his noncompete clause to pursue any media opportunity he chooses.
Scoop: Tucker Carlson met with Elon Musk before the announcement to discuss the potential of moving the show to Twitter. While no exclusive deal was made, Carlson said Twitter was the last social outlet that cares about free speech.
LOL: Twitter responded to The Wall Street Journal’s request for comment with an auto-reply of a poop emoji.
Guilty Until Proven Innocent
A punter for the Buffalo Bills was kicked off the team when he was accused of participating in a gang rape. We now know he was not even at the party.
Matt Araiza left the party a full hour before the sexual assault of a minor occurred at a San Diego party in October of 2021. Despite this, the Buffalo Bills expelled Araiza two days after the investigation began simply based on allegations.
