The American people are supposed to believe the same folks who brought us the Russia, Russia, Russia lies as well as the Justice Kavanaugh character assassination bs (never mind all the Trump lawfare) are now truthful about Gaetz even though no charges were ever filed, and he's never been charged? It sounds like a hateful political hit piece designed to destroy his reputation and influence.

The absence of all color is black.

The presence of all color is white.

Now as a matter of practically if you mix all the colors together you effectively get black.

So the Mentally Ill flag will ultimately look like a kindergarten class did blindfolded finger painting.

The Matt Gaetz tweets are absolutely savage, and accurate. I hope that guy just dries up and blows away vanishing into the mists of obscurity.

Could you let me know when we, as a country, decided guilty until proven innocent? Because everything I can find to read on the subject of Gaetz informs that he was never even charged for any crime, let alone convicted.

I reject your interpretation of what I said. I despise Matt Gaetz as a politician. He is horrible at what he does and shouldn't be in Trump's administration or Washington DC for any reason. My comment was that the tweets were brutally savage and anyone with common sense about the situation realizes that man should NOT be involved with any administration that wants credibility with the American voter. I said nothing about him being guilty of anything. If you still want to have him in the administration knowing all that we know, OR worse, want to try and make excuses for what common sense says you should know, then I appreciate your self-identification as an opinion I can ignore where weighty matters are concerned. Thanks.

The tweets implied guilt of a crime. You said they were accurate. I reject that position. I also do not think he is qualified for the position of AG. I have explained that to the Southern guy on another post so if you want to read the whole thing, you can look for it. The two points can be true at the same time. Not guilty as he has not been charged or convicted, not qualified for a variety of other reasons.

You did not read me accurately. "Savage" does not mean accurate. It means it is a very brutal, close-to-the-quick, and hurtful comment that strikes close to the truth if not spot on. My guess is that it is accurate based on the circumstantial evidence I've read about to this point and I don't like the guy. I'm fine with assuming, based on common sense about political figures of the type, that they are truthful. We already know a woman testified he had sex with her at 17, so that makes them accurate. Yeah. I believe her testimony. He should be out of politics. Feel free to continue to apologize for him, but I'm inclined to clean up my side so I can have moral high ground when I point the finger at the other side rather than make excuses for abominable behavior like the Left does.

Hmm, after saying I didn't read you accurately, you say the same thing again. No, I do not know that anyone testified to anything about him. I do know that a charging agency determined that there was nothing to charge. I can, and do profoundly believe he shouldn't be AG and still hold that the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" applies to everyone. I am holding to that moral high ground.

The House Ethics committee spoke to a woman, under oath, who testified that she had sex with Gaetz when she was 17. The ethics report will be out eventually and there will be more damning evidence beyond this one. You can find it if you want to. It's out there. The corrupt and partisan DoJ didn't charge him, correct. So, that makes him all good? No, but you do you. I'm not saying send him to jail on the court of public opinion. I'm saying do not propose him for a cabinet position based on common sense. That's what I'm saying and the tweets are still savage and accurate.

Concerning Gaetz, I think another reason Trump nominated Gaetz is he's hoping that a lot of the DOJ "rats" jump ship now so there's less cleanup to do later. Trump has said that DOJ staff not on board with reform should resign or get out of the way.

Note the people filling their basket with Gaetz Derangement Syndrome talking points and note that most are the same having never really recovered from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I ran a data center in the 80s and 90s. It was a large computer room with multi-million dollars in IBM mainframe computer equipment. I was so connected to IBM during that time, I almost turned blue.

It was during that time that Louis Gerstner was hired as CEO. Gerstner had absolutely no tech background. He came from Nabisco corp. During the time the old IBM guard and the tech media trashed the choice made by IBMs board of directors.

But Gerstner saved IBM. He broke it up into more nimble business units, and got rid of the old bureaucracy.

We voters are the board of directors for the nation, and we just elected for a second term the a "Gerstner" POTUS. We want him to reform all of government, and thus the picks for cabinet positions will need to be completely different that what we are used to.

If Trump had appointed people with the standard ruling class credentials, MAGA would have exploded in protest. Trump made that mistake his first term. Not this time.

I actually find the swamp infowar aimed at Gaetz quite fascinating. It’ll be an interesting confirmation hearing and my spidey senses are telling me people stirring the anti-Gaetz rhetoric are gonna be a bit sweaty when Gaetz produces the receipts.

That's an interesting angle...Gaetz may still go down in flames but if he kamikazes a bunch of other people that deserve it in the process...that's a 4-way win for Trump (Gaetz out of Congress, squirrel! for the MSM, player to be named later for AG, and dirty laundry day for the DOJ and others)
