“[T]he abandonment of a sacred order leaves culture without any foundation. The culture without a sacred order…has the task… of justifying itself only by reference to itself.” - Carl Trueman

We’re fed up with “sacred order”.

We don’t do transcendent now.

We’re more into our Big Brother

Who’s in bed with dead man Mao.

It’s the way today we do things.

Come along, enjoy the spin.

Make a wish, and re-imagine

That we’ve all transcended “sin”.

Just ignore those old “commandments”…

Friend, set all of that aside.

All aboard the Peace Train “Progress”

With the proud Self-Justified

Welcome to The Fragmentation

Where foundations only quake.

Join The Woke religious order…

Here at Western Culture’s wake.

who carry out a plan, but not mine;

who make an alliance, but against my will,

adding sin to sin…” –Isaiah 30:1

Well said, Eric. Amen and Amen! I wonder what, besides praying, to do with the young white couple who moved into the house across the street and have a "Black Lives Matter" sign on their lawn. Interestingly, the black couple two doors up from me, and about my age, do NOT have a "Black Lives Matter" sign on their lawn. Our main concern as Christians should be with Christ's body, the Church.

I also made note of the omissions in the BLM statement, namely the Black unborn and straight (cisgendered) Black men. Like Ahmaud Arbury and George Floyd. Black men who are faithful husbands and devoted fathers. Not mentioned once--except in statements that push for dismantling the family and patriarchal structures. If I learned anything from my dissertation, it' that words, both written and unwritten, matter.
