Just as a city needs a police force to protect good people from bad people, I think America, DOES need to be the "world's police force." But not in the sense that we should try to force our democracy on other countries. I don't think we have to be policeman, but I believe that we need to be good citizens. Both in our nation and abroad. I've often thought about the parallels in the past few years during COVID, George Floyd, etc... of the people who don't do; they just watch. As the world burns around them, they don't rise to the occasion. They don't speak out, they don't help. They just watch. I may be guilty of that myself. But I don't want to be an American that doesn't help - not take over, but help - those in need.

I don't want to be an America that just watches. I have a son serving in the USAF so I also don't want to jump into a war that may become WW3. There has to be some balance. Some way to help and be the good citizen. America can be the good world citizen without being the world's policeman.

We continue to hear low readiness numbers for many of our defense systems, particularly aircraft. Now, if our next potential conflict involved also-rans like Iran or some banana republic, that wouldn't be a big deal. But thanks to Hillary, Hunter, and Uncle Joe, China and Russia have excellent aircraft that (feign shock) exhibit many design features of our F-35. And China has a huge advantage in sheer numbers, a fact which should upset anyone who understands that the US did NOT win WWII due to superior aircraft, tanks, fighting tactics, or warriors, but due to superior numbers and production capabilities.
