Curious...why is the UN silent in all of this? Should it not unilaterally condemn terrorism and murder?????

Just as a city needs a police force to protect good people from bad people, I think America, DOES need to be the "world's police force." But not in the sense that we should try to force our democracy on other countries. We are the only nation with the moral authority and military might to protect good people from bad people in the world. We had to enter WW2 to prevent Hitler (bad person) from killing good people.

I would say America has abandoned GOD formally (USSC approves same-sex oOk, abortion OK) and Corporately. US was founded on Christian Principles, and those are abandoned. The only prayer GOD will listen to are prayers of repentance. Any other prayer only goes as far as the sound of the voice carries it.

My personal observation of 82 years on this earth, I would now say; The most corrupt area ever on this earth is inside the DC Beltway. Now it was/is a given as to how corrupt the Ukraine was prior to Russia going in. It will eventually be disclosed the degree of Biden Zelenskey corruption is. What right did J Biden have to take out The Russian Nord Baltic Sea Pipeline? Even Ex-Liberal NYT Seymore Hersh writer calls it a terrorist act by Biden. I would say a big God rendered reset on America will arrive soon. God is not (to be) mocked. PS For the record I enjoy Seymore's recent writings. Selah

Hersh is reliably anti-American for many decades. All his “scoops” with anonymous sources give examples of U. S. perfidy. We’re responsible for much of the world’s problems in his mindset.

This is not an all inclusive litany list. I would say from LBJ (Vietnam war remember recently Rob McNamara crying crocodile tears over prior decisions?) on down there has been much US perfidy. I personally believe BC enabled China to place nuclear on their missiles.

G W Bush Iraq, BHO a deceitful so-called Iran nuclear agreement which lifted ALL Sanctions and Many Billions of $ Iran to become nuclear. Under the sanctions Iran's Def minister could not leave the country. After lifting, he could and did go shopping in China, Russia, NK and now they are a nat's eyelash nuclear. Without the explosion in Lebanon last year it would already be worse. Muslim to muslim you know.

That will enable Iran and Russia to bring fulfillment to the Book of Zechariah. End of 7 year tribulation valley of Megiddo Armageddon War. There will be no nuclear w- warIII until that next event.

So you disbelieve SH's scoops? They are all just praddel?

I would say the USA Executive, Judicial, and Legislative systems under Progressive Dems have turned the nation dystopian beyond perfidy. Believe as you choose, to each his own , and to thine own self be true.

I do agree with pretty much everything you say. The only difference is that I still think that when we give money to Ukraine, we both recognize that it is a very corrupt country, not democratic at all, and we should know to the penny how every dollar is spent. That is the big bone of contention with funding Ukraine.

Ukraine ranked 116th (higher score bad) in corruption, obviously not good but 10 positions better in three years. Their former ruler and current attacker Russia is 137th, no change in three years. Russia’s partner Iran (oh so very devout) is 147th, one position worse in three years. Zelensky was elected not from the then ruling party. Putin and the Ayatollahs we know about.

then why Bill did Obama Biden Clinton team agree to transfer 1/6 of US uranium reserves to Russia ? Not so coincidentally ...Clinton Foundation received a 26 million dollar contribution from Russian energy interests .

Erick, Erick, Erick. No, the US should not be the world's police nor continue to put its nose into the conflicts of other countries.

The problem in a nutshell is that we have become a corpocracy and the Ivy-League-educated managerial class is not longer constrained with a commitment to higher morality and thus is driven primarily by a hidden agenda to enrich themselves. They control our government and thus exploit their power to effect policy that primarily serves their Wall Street-powered economic interests.

With all due respect to you, and you deserve a lot, you are stuck in an old irrational view of Americanism that no longer exists in our ruling class ethos... except for the two-faced media script that they continue to spout.

But even if we are to agree to disagree that the US should continue its post-WWII policing of world conflicts... WE CAN NO LONGER AFFORD IT! The same ruling class that demands we keep revving up the war machines to feed our war industry of dollars, has spent the country into a hole so deep we will never climb out again until and unless there is another massive global crash and world war (probably in that order) where the ruling class gets kicked out of their mansions in their gated communities.

I see a big pile of cognitive dissonance in my conservative friends that demand that the US inject itself in other global conflicts because they also tilt toward anti-federalism... demand that the federal government stay out of the business that should otherwise be owned by state, counties, cities, congregations and families. I just don't get how they intellectually justify being domestic libertarians while being global police state collectivists. National sovereignty is national sovereignty. It the US is specifically threatened by actions of other nations, they hell yes inject ourselves into the conflict. But to waste US tax dollars and the blood of poor and working class Americans for global conflicts that only serve to protect or create economic opportunity for the most wealthy and powerful.... well, that is why we have Trump.

That policy works for countries like New Zealand; as long as they have Australia and the United States in the background.

How did Mossad miss this?

I hear the talking heads say we should wait until a calmer time to figure this out, but I fear this IS the calmer time.

If Mossad missed it, and I believe they are the foremost intelligence agency on the planet, then God help us.

For the world it’s not IF, but WHEN.

I don't think we have to be policeman, but I believe that we need to be good citizens. Both in our nation and abroad. I've often thought about the parallels in the past few years during COVID, George Floyd, etc... of the people who don't do; they just watch. As the world burns around them, they don't rise to the occasion. They don't speak out, they don't help. They just watch. I may be guilty of that myself. But I don't want to be an American that doesn't help - not take over, but help - those in need.

Earlier today, I read Bari Weiss's column on The Free Press. She quotes editor Peter Savodnik who says,

"Because now we know.

Now we know who would have looked at Jews shoved onto cattle cars and said, “Well, they did undermine the German economy.” Those are the people today saying: “This is a justified response to the provocation of Israel existing.” Now we know whose politics are rooted not in conservatism or liberalism or anything else other than simply hating Jews. Now we can see exactly how people manage to always come up with a reason for why the Jews deserved it."

I don't want to be an America that just watches. I have a son serving in the USAF so I also don't want to jump into a war that may become WW3. There has to be some balance. Some way to help and be the good citizen. America can be the good world citizen without being the world's policeman.

I read that, too. Perhaps the Free Press is the beginning of an actual free press.

I think Israel was going through the same mind-virus that has been infecting us through our elites and that may have distracted them from being focused and ready. I read there are actually gun control progressives in Israel of all places. If they'd have mandated that every adult carry a gun, Israel's death toll would have been less with far fewer hostages taken.

The left's hallucinations about the world are going to get American's killed. I saw an image of gay activists with a poster supporting Hamas. The person who posted the image commented that Hamas would cut their throats and thrown them off a cliff if they could get their hands on them. We have to wrench our country back from those who have no boundaries. Getting America energy independence back will do much to solve the rise of the axis of evil. The climate bogey man is an insane distraction and is wholly illogical. Detach the military from progressive experimentation. Progressives have the west coast to practice their weirdness. The military has one job, they need to only be incredibly good at that. Progressive ideas are strangling the West, and we have to do all we can to undercut their foolishness and ridicule their deranged ideas. The crazies on the far right are not the problem. It's leftist ideas that are taking our eye off the ball.

I wholeheartedly agree. We can be a big brother to the world without trying to force them to build unisex bathrooms. I would suggest helping countries with stuff instead of money. Give them food , equipment and construction materials so they can have clean running water and electricity. Don’t line the pockets of dictators. There is so much of our money is wasted here and abroad. Like 47 Yinzer said build it and they will come. And please let’s get our military back to the mean fighting machine that it once was.

Fine—we just in addition must have a budget and a written plan every time for giving those who ask our arms and assistance. Preferably in all cases as a loan—to be repaid in funds or equivalent goods. If it’s continually open-ended, as it is now, the recipients have no incentive to get their jobs done as quickly as possible.

I diagree slightly with Erick on one thing. We DO need to put up a 'No Trespassing' sign. But it needs to be hung on a 'big beautiful wall' on our southern border.

Biden and the Left are allowing potential hostiles to enter our country. A staggering 151 people on the terror watch list have been caught coming across the southern border in FY23. There's no way to know how many have slipped in unnoticed.

These people might join other folks who have been here since 9-11to do God only knows what.

The #BidenBodyCount is going to get MUCH higher.

Essential that we engage the Eisenhower Doctrine in our foreign and military policy...begin to act smart and be smart. Evil exists that must be recognized as such and dealt with. Last Saturday was a wake-up call.

America needs capable, younger leadership now.

Both parties need to focus on America and its preservation both for our benefit but also for the benefit of Western Civilization.

I live in Augusta, GA, and if the name for Fort Gordon needs to change, we are happy it is to Fort Eisenhower. He is the last general with Marshall and McArthur to mount a successful grand strategy for winning in WWII and then rebuilding the countries we defeated.

I agree with one exception. We must get our own house in order before we can help others. That means building up our oil reserves, building up our oil resources, building up our military, getting inflation under control. We have to show that we are strong, before we can help others..

Amen, brother. All these promises of weapons and financial support to other countries has me very concerned about our own defense. We continue to hear low readiness numbers for many of our defense systems, particularly aircraft. Now, if our next potential conflict involved also-rans like Iran or some banana republic, that wouldn't be a big deal. But thanks to Hillary, Hunter, and Uncle Joe, China and Russia have excellent aircraft that (feign shock) exhibit many design features of our F-35. And China has a huge advantage in sheer numbers, a fact which should upset anyone who understands that the US did NOT win WWII due to superior aircraft, tanks, fighting tactics, or warriors, but due to superior numbers and production capabilities.
