Every conservative reading this knows that mainstream media outlets have been obsessed with mass shootings for nearly two decades. Ever since the Columbine High School shooting, reporters from mainstream outlets have championed the bravery of anti-gun advocates while questioning the integrity of Republicans who oppose “sensible gun reforms.”
These same reporters seem to be unbothered by the jaw-dropping number of weekly shootings in Chicago, nor do they care that the Windy City has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. It would appear that they are looking to cover shootings that fit a certain narrative.
The narrative bias was on display again this past Sunday when a shooter holding a child walked into Joel Osteen’s church and opened fire with an AR-15 sporting the words “free Palestine” on the barrel.
Aside from the obvious double standard the story would have received if it was a conservative shooter with “MAGA” on the barrel, the basic facts presented are the extent of the mainstream media coverage on the subject. What was omitted from every single mainstream source I read was that the shooter was transgender. To the extent it was covered, it was used as an attack against Republicans claiming conservative media is transphobic.
The lack of media coverage of this type of shooting fits a consistent trend over the past few years. From a Rite Aide in Maryland, to a charter school in Denver, to a night club in Colorado Springs, to a high school in Iowa, to a Christian school in Nashville, every single shooter listed above was transgender and the media refused to cover the story.
The suppression of these sorts of stories is so bad that if I was to take this video and put it on my YouTube channel, I would risk the video being demonetized or possibly my account getting suspended. Thank goodness for Substack’s long history of supporting free speech.
The sad reality is the lack of media coverage of the growing number of transgender shootings is the toxic blend of critical theory and intense drug usage designed to unnaturally manipulate estrogen and testosterone levels. The ironic result is that people are turning violent and because transgender people are viewed as oppressed, media outlets are roundly ignoring the stories so as not to appear transphobic.
As the media has refused to shine a light on the destructive policies and actions that have turned Chicago into a third-world hell hole, the problem has only gotten worse. My worry is the lack of coverage and conversation about the growing number of gender-transitioning individuals who are turning violent is going to be roundly ignored and more people are going to needlessly die.
