If you’ve listened to me on radio at all, you’ve heard me say repeatedly that Fulton County, GA is a black hole of election distortions. Ballots go in and don’t come out. Republicans will rush to assign everything to fraud and maybe it is fraud, but in my experience Fulton County’s elections are conducted at the precinct level by well meaning senior citizen volunteers and at the office level by grossly incompetent government employees.
The state legislature in Georgia, to national condemnation by the media and left, passed a law this year allowing the state to take over local boards with chronic, repeated, and uncorrected problems.
If you saw Tucker Carlson last night, you saw there does appear to be all sorts of voting irregularities in Fulton County. Ballots were counted multiple times. But, we cannot be sure those ballots repeatedly counted actually added votes because each ballot counted has a unique barcode and the ballot, if passed through the system a second time, will not have votes added.
But, troublingly, the audit sheets appeared full of errors too. Those doing the outside GOP audit claim it was fraud. In Fulton County, it was most likely gross incompetence. The Democrats run the county and blame the GOP for voter suppression when the Democrats themselves can’t run an election competently. Overwhelmingly, the system is run by senior citizen volunteers and is not problem free.
There are a few things you need to keep in mind.
First, more likely than not, those ballots really were double-counted and you don’t need to doubt the people who have the evidence on that point.
Second, more likely than not, those ballots by being double-counted did not add votes into the system because the unique barcodes of the ballots should prevent that.
Third, based on what is claimed about audit trails by the Board of Elections, we cannot be sure that did not happen.
Fourth, and most importantly, the state conducted a statewide ballot recount after the double counting. Therefore, the problems did not show up in the final certified result.
Fifth, the state of Georgia does need to do a full and complete investigation. Fulton County has problems every election. The state should take it over and fire the people in charge.
How do we get the state legislature to change the charter of the state to say: Any major city in a state that grows in population to a point that its actions or inactions cause negative effect to it's neighboring municipalities, will have it's political positions voted on by the entire state and not just the masses that have flocked to the hand outs.
Just a thought.
