Critical operations computer systems in a company should never be electronically connected with any other of the other systems that connect in any way with the internet or the outside world. It is as simple as this: No connection means that hacking cannot disrupt the operations. The only downside is that when someone has to make a change in the operations he can't do it from the front seat of his car with his iPhone while on a hot date. He has to go to the office to do it.

DeSantis is already hammering Biden on this (as he should), this is the stuff that will cost the Democrats in November. In the news conference yesterday with the Energy Secretary (the second-worst former goveneor of Michigan will ever have), she was asked about fossil fuels. She all but confirmed what everyone already knows, Biden is not letting this crisis go to waste.

Seriously, if you ever have need to preach at a really small church, you have a place always! Your writing style and ability to communicate ideas is why you’re successful where others are not. Nice!

I work in the security technology space, and there is currently a negative unemployment rate in IT security. That means that companies are hiring people who do not have the skills just so they can have a warm body in the seat because there is such an incredible shortage of well skilled people. Colonial has had several unfilled cybersecurity jobs for over a year for this reason. This is modern day warfare.

I can see it coming.

"Do you have your "essential worker" certificate?

"Do you have your vaccine certificate?"

Okay, then you can get a ration card for gas...if you're not able to produce both those things, no gas for you!

But it's okay, the government is here to help...your UBI check is on it's way, you can use it to buy an electric car...

Erick, this crew in the WH doesn’t care. They have essentially been supporting anarchy and lawlessness in our streets for the better part of a year due to their desire for power. Biden is feckless. Hopefully the overwhelming majority of the country catches on quickly.

Less reliant on internet? No. I worked in IT from 1992 to 2019. Companies need to separate operations systems from email and HR systems. It means redundancy in hardware which costs more, but unfortunately it is necessary.

No one company should control 45% of the pipeline to the Eastern USA. There is power in diversification. Further any company providing infrastructure of critical importance should be under strict compliance oversight to provide secure systems, with hefty fines for non-compliance. But no one is surprised by this. Where are the grown-ups?

Hospitals have already been hacked. Ransom ware attacks are specifically targeting medical offices and hospitals especially during the covid since everything else was shut down. It’s deplorable. Eric, we love you. 🙏🏽

To those of you who voted for Biden or stayed home for whatever reason........you are complicit in this situation and the problems that this regime is bringing about.

The elites don’t care if the cost of things rise. They can afford any price increase. They aren’t going to be waiting in line for gas either or for anything else.

My company told me to stay home today and work from home. What about the doctors and nurses and hospitals that can’t stay home? Elections have consequences. Mr. Biden used to have a banner on his campaign stops that said he would be a one term president, he really did, and it was taken down. Let’s hope he meant that.
