Several thousand years ago, after the death of Solomon, his son Rehoboam came to the throne. Confronted by the various tribes of Israel, instead of taking the advice of the Israelite elders to treat the tribes with respect, Rehoboam took the advice of his young advisors and abused the tribes.
There was huge enthusiasm for Trump.There was no real enthusiasm for Biden. He was the "generic Democrat" pollsters ask about. The one stat that was never measurable was the antipathy/hatred for Trump.

At this point, I would rather have a Biden Presidency, followed by a Harris Presidency that certainly will have no respect for the spirit of the fundamentals of the American Bill of Rights, if that causes people to turn from their idols.

Can these idols here produce?
Can they rescue us from danger?
Can the free us from The Noose?
Can these Golden Calves around us
Give us lasting Peace, my friend?
Can they keep us from destruction…

Will this wind we’re chasing after
Simply blow us all away?
Will the Truth we keep evading
Find us clean on Judgment Day?
Will we see our true condition?
Will God’s Spirit make it clear?
Will we mourn the sin within us
And cry out for mercy here?
Or will Pride remain our ruler?
Will this narcissism reign?
Will we look, sir, in the mirror?
Will we see sin’s crimson stain?
Will we bow before The Maker?
Will we recognize we’re lost?
Is there still time to discover
Why He fought to climb The Cross?
