I subscribed to Eric’s Show for One Year yet show notes don’t come everyday and every time I try to read them either on Eric’s web site or substack they want a donation. Luckily I can Listen to the show but not on the road because the cell strength is minimal in South East Georgia

Walker is a crappy candidate. So is Oz. Trump and Hannity should be embarrassed for what they’ve done.

I'm beyond frustrated with Walker being the GOP candidate. Warnock is beatable but probably not by a candidate as flawed as Walker. That seat is too important to take chances on. We're talking 6 years!

Every morning I check the news on my phone (after giving thanks to God for another day) to see if Brenda is now the president. That would be bad news.

Expand full comment

Brendan would be the male of Brenda.

Brenda?

Is that the feminine of Brandan?

yes, Harris the VP.

Clever. Or perhaps a cunning stunt in word play.

When will the Republicans wake up to their own self-sabotage? When will they leave Trump behind? WHEN THE MONEY STOPS. That's when. They have the issues. They have the policies. But they're greedy for power (McCarthy, McConnell) and the money that comes with it. It's not like the Democrats run better candidates; they're just less bad than ours. Biden can't put together a coherent thought; Trump can't keep his mouth shut. Yet it looks like those two will be the options in 2024. Ugh. Americans lose.

I am so danged angry that Greitens has any support. If he is the nominee, we are likely going to see whoever is the dem candidate win the election. Going to be just like the year we ended up with McCaskill. And why on earth is Greitens being supported by one of Trumps kids and fiancée??!!

I agree. Losing to Warnock would be a disaster for America. Erick, if you read this, please do what you can to reach out and help Herschel, perhaps under the radar. Herschel needs to train for this Senate run as he trained as an athlete. Stay off topics he knows nothing about. Stay on message 24/7. “Are you happy with Warnock’s economy?”. Warnock has every elite supporting him. He’s in Schumer’s back pocket. We must push Walker over the goal line (sorry).

Expand full comment

Yes, Herschel is a flawed candidate. Now tell me how I would be better off voting for Warnock or not voting at all. Warnock can be trusted just as much as we can trust AOC. We know their agenda. Herschel will follow orders. Better a "yellow dog" than Warnock!

Expand full comment

No one is saying that. We are saying he’s a bad candidate.

Expand full comment

Exactly. However I will vote for him over Warnock. I have doubts if Walker would last the full term. That might not be the worst outcome.

Expand full comment

But whose orders will he follow?

Expand full comment

Mitch McConnell’s, maybe? Better than Schumer’s orders.

Trump is "silent on the sociopath" because he is a sociopath.

He was great on judges, Supreme Court Justices, tax/regulation cuts;

but the damage he's doing to conservatives with his never-ending stupid

endorsements of stupid candidates might just be enough to give the Dems

the Senate. Again.

And that’s unacceptable. I’ve thought about joining Truth Social just to get on and encourage Trump to put our country first. Best scenario to me, Trump doesn’t run and actively campaigns for the Republican nominee (Desantis please). We lose in 2024,?we lose the country.

A recent poll cited by Joe ("Read the polls, Jack") Biden, 94% of Dems said they'd vote for Biden over Trump. A significant number of Repubs would also vote for Anyone but Trump. (I plan on doing that in the primary.)

The only thing that would prevent a Republican red wave in Nov. 2024 would be a Trump candidacy. To me, the odds of Trump (who would be 78 at the time of the election and in January, 2025) winning are less than 50/50.

You are 100% on the money, Eric!

I've said this entire year that people should never understimate the ability of Republicans to blow a so-called "sure bet" election.

This year is a classic example.

President Trump has made some horrible endorsements!

I suspect it is not due to his inept, sycophantic advisors but rather who has, or has not, "kissed his ring."

In his mind, too, any tiny perceived (not necessarily real) breach of his ego is enough to cause him to make rash incorrect decisions.

He won't do it for the good of our nation, but he should announce he won't run but will campaign for Gov. DeSantis.

If he did that, Republicans would increase dramatically their chances of not only winning the White House but also sweep the House and Senate.

But don't count on it.

I say that as one who voted for him and I appreciate greatly most of the actions he took as president, especially his Supreme Court appointments.

Keep up the good fight!

For the good of the country and state, we need some statesmanship in GA and MO.

If Walker should somehow win this year, he needs to be primaried in 2028.

Expand full comment

I'm sure he will be. In the meantime, how do we get to 2028? For the next 6 years, are we better off with Walker or Warnock?

Expand full comment

Definitely better off with Walker. I fully intend to vote for Walker.

Expand full comment

Yes agree on this. Don’t understand the infatuation with Walker. Wish he didn’t have to debate Warnock. Fear it will not be pretty.

Expand full comment

Warnock is plenty flawed and looney. Unfortunate that news will not be covered by the press.

Expand full comment

True, Warnock is a polished communicator. On the other hand, the issues are to Herschel's advantage. The damage to Herschel has come from slinging dirt. Both sides can do that. When is the question going to be asked, "Raphael, where are your wife and children?"
