This weekend let's march in front of Joe's home in Rehoboth beach with signs made of empty ice cream cartons that say Hey hey, Ho ho, Supreme Court protesters Gotta go

Maybe we ought to remind Grandpa Dementia that "silence is violence". Or must we wait until there is very real bloodshed, every drop of which will be on the President's hands, before he starts taking the situation seriously?

We KNOW that there's no point in expecting the Department of (In)Justice to bestir itself away from persecuting people accused of misdemeanors on January 6th in the name of tarring all conservatives and Republicans (they're not one and the same) with the "insurrectionist" tag, and parents concerned about their children's miseducation with the "domestic terrorist" one to start showing concern about a situation which could explode the very real powder keg America's no longer civil society has become.

I have never been more alienated from and fearful of my government than I am today.

To start with I have never been banned from Twitter. I have been out spoken. Surprised that I am still there. I don't like what happened on J 6 but I was not there, all I know is what I hear, read and see on TV. I have a friend who is outraged and wants to charge the rioters with treason and wants to hang them or put them in front of a firing squad. Another friend agrees with what happened and may have persisted if he were there. What has happened to justice for them. It seems more like revenge.

I believe the same bunch that is yelling and screaming in front of the judges houses are the same bunch that rioted, burned and looted during the summer of 2020. I believe someone is financing this. This does not fall under free speech. It is anarchy. Our institutions are being destroyed. I want this nation to be here as it was founded for my children. Dan

You are absolutely correct in thinking these protesters are being financed. This has been documented in multiple cases previously (the protests in Wisconsin in which the Kyle Rittenhouse shooting took place comes to mind). You can find the sources with a Google search.

I would like to know whatever happened to integrity, respect, and character.? I would also like to know is being a left wing protester a job? And if it is, who is footing the bill? Have we hit bottom yet?

Linda, the left protesters ARE often paid by organizations who get their money from George Soros funded projects and PACs. Some old videos are out there of bussed in groups, who grab bags of rocks from under park benches and throw them at peacekeeping officers. It's sad to see where my country is headed. You don't want to work at being a protester, but that's obvious since you read The Conservative Viking. As for your last question. The answer is NO. We haven't even come close to the bottom yet.

The Left and to a large degree the Right as well refuse to use character as a point of evaluation for public service. Bill Clinton was the public culmination of this. We were told his private life didn't have anything to do with how he did his job. They were wrong but the American public accepted it to a very large degree. How do I know this? He got re-ellected after the Lewinski scandal. The Left doesn't care one bit about the character of a politician beyond being able to use it to smear someone on the right. We should still clean up our own house but I do not engage anyone as concerns the character of the people on the right if they try to ignore, downplay, or claim "whataboutism" when their own side's peccadillos are pointed out.

January 6th was awful. And whether anyone wants to believe it or not, most of the people involved the ugly parts of it were duped, instigated, and encouraged by people who wanted to paint Trump supporters as "insurgents". Some of those people are still in jail with nothing more than trespassing charges. Meanwhile, anyone on the left is allowed to rampage, terrorize, assault, burn, and vilify any person or group of people who offers up any opposition to their destructive ideology.
