Tim Keller has died. He has been battling pancreatic cancer. Two years ago, for Good Friday, he spoke to me about his fight with cancer, his faith, and about culture. You can hear the conversation above. I got to know Tim as a critic of his who discovered that much of what I heard about what Keller had said or written was vastly different from what Keller had actually said or written.
I was fortunate to attend Redeemer for an Easter service some years ago. I have also listened to numerous podcasts and read some of his books. One of the best at combining a sermon for intellectuals with practical applications for all. God bless you and your race has been run.
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
I have read so many of Mr. Keller's books on your recommendation and they are my favorites!! I find they calm my angry emotions when things are not going the way they should. I always get so much from your sharing conversations with people you know, it gives such great context to what they write. Thank you for leading us to fine men who are also leaders. I am Catholic and only recently became exposed to Tim Keller. His is a voice that will be missed.

In a world that seems to have turned against Religion, Tim Keller was needed to furnish hope to those who believe as well as those who do not. HL
I had always hoped to one day be able to attend Redeemer and hear him preach. A wonderful tribute to a good man who simply walked humbly with his God.
