I do like Tim Scott.. However, every time I see him, I think of "Bubba" from the movie "Forrest Gump" 🤣🤣🤣

It will be remembered that Barack Obama despite coming from a split family, attended the exclusive Punahou School, which until that time was exclusively for those children of Hawaiian descent.

Further, this was probably due to the fact that his maternal grandmother was a VP of the Bank of Hawaii. Check it out. Then on to Harvard or was it Yale?

How condescending for Barack Obama to scold Senator Scott when he has not lived the same life experiences but likes to pretend they are the same. I like Tim Scott--a lot! I believe he embodies a great many of the characteristics that makes a fine person and a good leader. This could enable him to bring out the best in many of us from all sides if we allowed it to happen. Something to ponder.

Tim Scotts background is a lot more like President Eisenhower's. They both grew up poor and yet made wonderful things happen. It to Eisenhower a little longer as he seemed to be a trouble maker even after he was commissioned. But he was also our President when I was in the USMC. He was a strong President.

It took Eisenhower. My error.

I really like Tim Scott.Yet Pervert Politics will fight to make Deceiving Needy Citizens the winner so they can recreate Sodom and Gomorrah.

Then I see Monday has produced 45 substantial earthquakes worldwide so far today and I know

my God is angry. Do you know Microwave Start considers the Word GOD as profanity?

At least I was cited for it. Don’t say you don’t feed wildlife as it’s Gods Job.

Or Yahweh is profanity according to Microsoft.

I am an American. Black. Conservative. I don't use African-American, because I'm American, I'm black and I'm conservative. I don't like people trying to label me. African- American is socially acceptable for some people, but I am not some people.

continuing: A man of this parentage and socialization has no business criticizing Sen Tim Scott, or any other American black no matter what political persuasion. Great analysis Erick.

Think Erick’ substack this morning should be shared by us far and wide. I never had a problem with Obama being president, but he failed in his unique position to help create “ a more perfect union”. He did the opposite.

Tim Scott should be president. Everything I have heard from him is what the USA needs now to help us step away from the path we are on now!

The above paragraph tells you all you need to know about today's Democrat race hustlers. They represent the liberal elite of all colours, shapes, and sizes, and not working class Americans of any shape, colour, or size. Well said and well presented, Mr. Erickson. Those words should become the theme of Tim Scott's campaign.

Obama has caused more race problems in this country since he was president. He should just go away and take Hillary and Biden with him. We are NOT a racist nation. I am a conservative Independent voter but I voted for Kennedy, and Clinton (Bill) twice. I vote for the person not the party. I voted for Trump twice and I will probably vote for him again although Tim Scott is really appealing. I also like Vivek alot. Skin color has nothing to do with it. Obama is the biggest racist in this country. Yes.. Black lives matter.. White lives matter too.. ALL lives matter.. If you put any color in front of that then YOU are the racist.

You mean the Mitt Romney of 2012 who drove around with his poor dog on the roof and callously let an employee’s wife die of cancer to save some health insurance costs?

It is disconcerting, but to be expected, to hear Former President Obama deride Sen. Scott and former Gov. Haley in fear that they will tout “America exceptionalism” and for each of them, along with countless millions of other Americans, to demonstrate that people succeed when they work hard, sacrifice, exercise determination and grit, and realize their goals. Scott and Haley are to be emulated...not Obama.

Obama’s creed is misery, despair, hopelessness and endless whining. Unless you’re a political hack hustling votes, who wants that?

Nice piece, Eric.

Your point is well taken and obviously true. There might even be more to it in the short term. Why would a political party bring out its biggest gun and fire at a bottom tier appearing primary contestant in the other party, 17 months away from a national election no less? Because that party is desperate for its opponent to nominate a literal crazy man thus ensuring sweeping victories in November 2024. Two birds, one Obama thrown stone.
