I never thought I would write this, but I’m done. I’m not sure if it was the attacks on Brian Kemp or his absurd parsing of Harris’s ethnicity but I’m done with Trump. I will invest in Senate races this year to create a block to the first two years of Harris presidency and then go all in the next off-year election. Maybe by then, Republicans and conservatives will have shaken off this infatuation with Trump.

And you know, he is weird. So are they; weirder still. But DJ T is weird too.

Erick, I wish he do as you suggest. He will lose if he doesn't and then we all lose!

Trump clearly needs you for his campaign manager.

Erick-Wish you were Trump's campaign advisor and that he would listen to you.

I think he needs to stop claiming that the 2020 election was stolen, as he did again today. The only people who believe that are already voting for him. For everybody else, it just reminds them of what a liar he is.

However, Trump is unlikely to heed this or any of the other sound advice offered here by Erick and others. Narcissists can never admit that they are wrong, even implicitly. As his poll numbers continue to slip, we are more likely see him double down in doing what he thinks has worked for him in the past.

(To wit, today he claimed that his crowd on January 6th was larger than the one that received Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech. The mainstream press is going to ram that one up his butt, sideways.)

Trump is doing everything in his power to convince me not to vote for him. This is after the Dems spent the past year convincing me to vote for Trump. It’s crazy.

Too much common sense for MAGA. Until I see a cogent plan like this put into action, I will be resigned to another loss come November.

I'm already there and think the GOP is smartest to just work on winning Senate and congressional races to keep a liberal White House in check as much as possible.

Trump really needs to stop the name calling, and act like an adult. He and his people alike need to take your advice, Erick. He needs to get and be a fresh face, take the 2nd chance that God has given him and focus on why the American people need a Republican White House LEADER. Get off your high horse, stop reminding us why folks dislike you, be the better person for the job you're wanting.

In other words, he needs to get his tender ego out of the race. You would think getting shot would make him realize this is not a game. The stakes are much higher and the fallout, especially for him, quickly destructive. He needed every vote and can't afford to lose any at all.

which is why I cannot understand why instead of trying to APPEAL to voters already not in his base, he tells them (as he told Nikki Haley supporters) that they are 'banned from the GOP' or otherwise tries to alienate voters. Most of us in that camp said to ourselves, 'OK, let's see how you do without us' because he's going to regret rejecting every vote he can get in what will (again) be a very tight election.

Three weeks ago Mr. Trump had a real life experience with God!! It was life changing. He needs to go back to the kinder-gentler place he was then. He has PLENTY of material to run on regarding the left. Please listen Mr. Trump and stop the name calling.

Erick, please get this to Trump and/or someone he listens to, like Lara Trump and Vance! I LOVE Trump and will vote for him regardless, but I do not want him to go down the rabbit trails of 2020-we all know what happened and the shenanigans, BUT focus on 2024 and how we can stop the same thing from happening now! Focus on exactly how you are going to lead us out of this mess. I keep a log book of every gallon of gas I buy, the mileage, the date, number of gallons, price per gallon and the total. My father taught my siblings and me to do that when we were in high school. On Jan 1, 2020, I paid $1.89 per gallon at Costco in Atlanta. I have the book and the receipt and will gladly show it to DJT!! My electric bill has doubled from last year. And so many other things as well.

He needs to show those! Everyone can relate to that.

History is filled with people like Trump whose early brilliance and/or victories lead to an arrogant insistence that "No one knows better than me." Trump exhibited these traits long before running in 2016 so I'm not sure why anyone is surprised that he continues to do so now. It's like opening the milk, smelling that it's sour, and putting it back thinking it will somehow be better tomorrow.

On point and excellent advice as usual. When folks say Fox most watched I laugh as most folks watch their local news every day not Fox. Also to those who act like losing a few votes here and there from Trump being “Trump” need to realize that those no’s are not evenly distributed across US. You could lose 20k in CA won’t matter as Dem advantage too high but in those other states even 1k-5k could lose a state. Look at GA. Plus, everyone who was or thinking about voting for Trump but changed their vote to No, like any new convert will try to sway others to their new point of view. While that part of human nature should also work in reverse for us, the liberal media has done such a hatchet job that many are still afraid to stand up vocally for Trump for fear of their jobs, friends, etc. Trump and those that support him DO need to listen to Erick and stop all this nonsense that his bad behavior is why people vote/like him. He wanted attention he's got it but now the negative will lose a race he can win.

there is a reason why, when when you run for any elected office at any level, part of the advice you are given is to wind up every speech or door knocking face-to-face visit with a voter with ASKING FOR THEIR VOTE. Because as Erick said, the dynamic is that you need the voter, the voter doesn't need you. The voter has choices and as a candidate you SHOULD want to make them want to choose you. But to do that, you have to give them reasons to and NOT reasons NOT to vote for you. This basic truth of politics somehow seems to have escaped Trump still in this, his THIRD run for the White House. I think he's beyond help, personally.

Tell the Trump team he seems tired and unable to sustain the physical rigors of the campaign trail, he.just doesn't have the stamina.

It's ok Donald, your 78, we get it. You sit on the porch and let the young gun do the heavy lifting, the Independents in the swing state understand; they gave Biden a pass in 2020.

Kudos to you for not being intimidated by Vance.

This is such a wonderful email full of the right actions. I hope Mr. Trump could see the value of these things to get this done. We are so concerned about the direction of our country. Wish he could take the emotion out of it all and concentrate on the issues. Thanks Erick!
