Time For Action
For those of you in Georgia, on Wednesday, the Georgia Senate Public Safety Subcomittee on First Responders will hear HB 225, to end speed cameras.
I understand that the Chairman of the subcommittee, Randy Robertson, prefers a compromise plan written by the same companies currently running the cameras. Hopefully, he’ll support HB 225 out of committee.
Every possible constituent needs to work the phones to tell the members of the subcommittee to support HB 225. The compromise plan, written by the lobbyists, is as flawed as the existing legislation. The existing legislation, like the revised proposal, restricts the times people can get tickets. But local governments continue to give tickets outside the allotted time when the cameras are supposed to be turned off.
If you know anyone who lives in these senators’ districts, please urge them to call and ask for support for HB 225. If everyone engages and calls, surely they’ll be inclined to support their constituents over the lobbyists.
But your voice needs to be heard.
The hearing is set for Wednesday. So call now. The relevant phone numbers are below.

The only thing our Jawjuh Lehgisslaytores care about supporting is who buys them the best rack of ribs. They are all bought and paid for!! Corrupt to the absolute core!!!
The ticket disappears if you are related to an elite. We peons can’t take time off work and pay court costs.
