Remember when all of the left-leaning MSM (news and broadcast stations, newspapers, etc.) said they would work to "do better" in understanding and connecting with Trump voters when he won his first Presidency? They would work on getting outside their leftist bubble. Did you believe them? Yeah, me neither. If anything, they leaned in harder.
It seems that the initial rule change to rid us of family related pronouns by Congress was most likely a payment to the antifa crowd. The left seems to be on the way to making things easier to create antifa foot soldiers. Do away with family (especially patriarchy) and religion and look what you get. I doubt all the security in capitals is still for the right. The left has an organized army that is very prone to try and take over buildings and governments.
Lemon put it inartfully - perhaps even offensively. But let's face it: as between Trump and Biden, we know for whom the Klan voted.
If one voted for Donald Trump, and the Klan voted for Donald Trump, that may not put you on the side of the Klan (as Lemon inartfully put it). However, it definitely puts you on the same side AS the Klan. Stated another way, if one finds oneself standing with racists, that doesn't necessarily mean that one is racist. However, not being a racist does not change the fact of who you're standing with.
My first point is that if nothing else, that should give one pause. By way of illustration, looking up and seeing Confederate flags flapping in the wind, any black man in that crowd at the Capitol last Wednesday to whom it did not occur that maybe . . . just maybe he was in the wrong place; that man is a damn fool.
In making my second point, let me start with an illustration. There are some absolute loony tunes on my side of the political spectrum. If I had gone to a rally protesting George Floyd's death last summer, I would no doubt have found myself standing among some of them. Were they to start burning and looting buildings, I don't get to just keep standing there on the grounds that I'm not doing anything wrong. Realizing that my continued presence gives them cover, if I don't try to stop them, I should at least go home.
Not only do conservatives rarely go home, they don't even want to acknowledge that the guy they are standing next to is loony as hell. I get it. Absent the additional numbers that your loony tunes (i.e., racists) bring to the table, your total numbers might be insufficient to carry the day on policy issues that are important. Were I in the same position, I might not go home either. But I would at least own it.
I think what Lemon was trying to say is that black men voting for Trump are on the same side AS the Klan, which is true. If the Chinese or Russians were to invade my country and the Klan was willing to fight them, feel free to count me on the same side as the Klan. However, I would not take offense at someone for reminding me who is in that foxhole with me, because I am going to want to get out of there just as soon as I can.
Well-intentioned conservatives who continue to support the man who sparked last week's insurrection are in the same foxhole with racists. Yes, you are. As concerns your support for that man, maybe it's time to get out.

I can quickly think of three other examples just since last Wednesday in which DEMOCRAT LAWMAKERS - not just the media - have used inflammatory language like this WITHOUT CONSEQUENCE (Rep. Hank Johnson telling Al Sharpton that the Capitol rioters would have "lynched" black lawmakers had they not been stopped by police; Nancy Pelosi saying "whiteness" is to blame for the Capitol riots; and Maxine Waters made yet another inflammatory quote which I can't find at the moment). I am sick of it, as so many of us are! I'm sick of the bullying of old ladies, the knocking hats off of heads of teenagers, the screeching of those on the left at those who would DARE support Trump or any other conservative for that matter!! THIS IS ALSO WHY THE CAPITOL RIOTS HAPPENED, and blame must be squarely placed on THEIR shoulders, too!

I dropped cable and haven't watched CNN, MSNBC or FOX in 15 years. That's why I follow Erick and others. When you pay all that $$ for cable...all these guys get a nickle or so a month whether you watch them or not. At least that is how it used to work. Once I figured that out - I turned it all off. It is absolute junk and they just roll in the $$ even though no one watches them.
Same with Disney - I used to let my kids watch that until I saw the commercial with a mom telling their child to "clean their room"..the kid stuck their fingers in their ears and yelled "la la la la la la la" until the mother exploded.
I feel that the media both left and right have overplayed their hand and are now distrusted by many, myself included. Every story I read I take with more than a few grains of salt.

A) CNN needs to be recharacterized legally as a PAC ... that is what their behavior is.
B) Democratic Party is the party of the Klan.
