When World War II concluded with the surrender of the Japanese, a countless number of Americans poured into government jobs as a means of patriotic service because the threat of the Soviets was only just beginning.
My father (1925-2002) said always remember that with success it was normally “shirt sleeves to shirt sleeves in three generations”. Still holds true. First generation makes it, second generation enjoys it, and the third generation squanders it.
I watched the 2nd generation of bureaucrats during the 60s. As a young officer, I was astounded that some of the highly placed civilians working for the military were as incompetent as they were. Later, I began to understand the old adage, "those who can, do; those who can't work for government."
What's your point? That there is no "conspiracy" to destroy America from within? That the government CAN be trusted? That the press CAN be trusted? What are you saying? "Sit down, shut up and submit"? When our government willfully lies to us and gets caught repeatedly, how are we to respond? Shrug it off? Assume the best? And what is the "best"? - Joe Biden got money from China and Ukraine from Hunter's dealing selling Joe's influence.
- COVD was not nearly as deadly as they made it out to be.
- The COVID drugs were not really vaccines.
- Keeping kids out of school was unnecessary and harmful.
- Masks really don't work.
- Shelter in place caused more families to lose loved ones.
- That the virus was likely lab made and lab released.
- That Fauci lied and people died.
- That Jan-6 was anything but a constitutionally protected protest with civil disobedience from unarmed American citizens.
- That the protestors killed nobody.
- That Ashley Babbit was murdered by a partisan Democrat capitol police officer.
- That the massive Democrat partisan spending on COVID relief approved by the Biden Administration was necessary and would be harmful to the economy.
- That the resulting inflation was because of Democrat spending along with their war on fossil fuels and not the pandemic.
- That inflation would NOT be transitory.
- That Men CANNOT get pregnant.
- That voters welcome and want voter ID.
- That there are only two genders.
- That the Biden administration, carrying over what Obama started, abused their government power to censor, cancel and de-platform their political opposition under the lie that it was because of danger to the public related to the global pandemic.
- That the Biden administration is welcoming in millions of illegal immigrants, many of them criminals as part of a great replacement project.
- That all the court cases against Trump were politically motivated to disqualify Trump from the election.
- That Joe Biden was fit and healthy to perform as President.
- That Kamala Harris is anything but a politically incapable cardboard cutout puppet with radical leftist beliefs.
- That Trump is NOT a threat to democracy, but the Democrats ARE a threat to the world.
