Please tell me where I can find a concise summary of the failures of the Trump legal team to prove a single thing. I have so many friends who are convinced of all of this conspiracy crap, and I need facts to line up for them!!

73 MILLION people voted for Trump!! If you have to reread that number- and think about it!

The old Republican party is DEAD!! And thank goodness. We continue to need and desire a person who will really FIGHT for us. Only Trump had the balls to do that.

You need to chase after Mittens Romney. He will give you a warm blanket and some milk.

Yep, I see some hate mail in your future. Remember that graph from a few weeks ago with the downward trend? Eh, might have another dip. But I'll renew.

Hey, why don't you give us a few trial subscriptions to give out for Christmas, maybe we can bring that graph back to an upward slant.

I only continue to pay for this feed because of my Christian faith. Erick articulates strong messages of hope. God is in control and Erick is not afraid to give Him proper credit.

Politically, I often disagree with Erick. But so what.

Oh boy it sounds like you don’t believe their is a deep state. Is that what I’m understanding Erick? Is AG Barr Superman? Do you believe that Superman is real Erick? If I’m a smart lawyer at the DOJ and I don’t like Trump I can choose to be diligent, honest, and trustworthy, or I can just act busy as hell and overlook the obvious if any their is there. AG Barr can tell his staff to look for it, do your job to the best of your ability, and they can still say F you under their breath.

Have you forgotten the hate that President Trump, Justice Kavanaugh, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and others have endured? You don’t seem to believe that can happen Erick? FISA court abuse took place Erick and no one is in jail or being held accountable. Is that okay in the Erick Ericsson lawyer mind? Is that justice Erick? Tell us the obvious Erick or did WSB threaten to stop you afternoon show if you didn’t tow the move along line? Stop subbing for the government, aka the deep state that the late Senator Ted Kennedy so kindly guaranteed a job forever. That murderer was smarter than we all give him credit for. Give people a well paying taxpayer job for life and they’ll tow the democrat liberal agenda for life. Donald Trump couldn’t scratch his butt in the WH without it leaking to the press and you know it. Congressman Dan Crenshaw once said, he didn’t like term limits because the federal bureaucrats would have too much power over the new Congress people who would be term limited. He’s right because bureaucrats aka the deep state, aka the swamp would know more about situations and basically run the show.

I’m still flabbergasted that you have let evil have a pass. Peter Strok, Lisa Paige, Bruce Orr, Nellie Orr, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Hillary Clinton, the whole Obama administration acted in bad faith. Unmasking isn’t illegal but it happened, and Joe Biden lied about it. From spying on the Trump Campaign to the Steele dossier the public has been show proof of lies and bias from government bureaucrats. If I was the President I would pardon Edward Snowden and have him come testify to everything he knows including the lies the CIA director told Congress. So far one attorney has been charged and you believe that’s fair? When you look at anyone who associated with the President gets his world turned upside down. We now have reports that liberals want anyone associated with the Trump administration to basically be black listed. That’s happening and you know election fraud happens. I just don’t know where your proof is that democrats didn’t not illegally turn in absentee ballots of dead people? How do you know democrats didn’t participate in ballot harvesting, and other absentee voter fraud practices? I already know your answer and it is typical lawyer stuff. The Trump campaign are the ones who must prove enough votes were altered to change the outcome of the election. Just you wait and see Erick we will lose these 2 Senate seats because democrats will go door to door to get those absentee ballots picked up and dead people will again vote, people from outside the state will vote also. Federal law allows it. Then you’ll be back on your show saying I told you so. Trump lost these Senate seats for Ga. because he said the election was a fraud.

He can’t and he won’t. He blames Trump and yes, I blame Trump for his laziness in not preparing for the debates. That still doesn’t let the Democrat party off the hook for the last 4 years of lawlessness in an attempt to take down a duelly elected President. These Lincoln project Republicans in the northern suburbs must not give a rip about the Kavanaugh takedown attempt, nor the unmasking of General Flynn. It is unimaginable that people couldn’t see through the, “left wing takedown Trump at all cost media,” and the evilness of the liberal bureaucrats and democrats that work 24/7 to takedown our President.

Erick is the real Republican. The party needs to return to its conservative/classical liberal philosophy. Trump was an aberration. If loyal Trump followers don't see that after the crazy show that's been Trump's behavior since November 3 then the Republican Party is lost and you will reap that which you fear the most, Democratic Party rule for the foreseeable future.

These are a few things you need to think about Erick. Maybe it will help you understand the Trump supporter.

I tolerated 44 (Obama) for 8 years and kept quiet.

Here is my issue with the whole, “let us all be a United States again” that we heard from Joe Biden.

For the last 4+ years, the Democrats have gone scorched earth. You have salted the fields and now you want to grow crops.

The problem is 72+ million of us have memories longer than a hamster.

We remember the women’s march (vagina hats and all) the day after inauguration.

We remember the 4 years of attacks and impeachments

We remember “not our president” and the “Resistance…”

We remember Maxie Walters telling followers to harass us in restaurants.

We remember the Presidents spokesperson being kicked out a restaurant.

We remember hundreds of Trump supporters physically attacked.

We remember Trump supporters getting Doxed, and fired from jobs.

We remember riots, and looting

We remember “a comedian” holding up the President’s severed head

We remember a play in Central park paid with public funding, showing the killing of President Trump

We remember Robert de Niro yelling “F" Trump” at the Tony’s and getting a standing ovation.

We remember Nancy Pelosi tearing up the State of the Union Address.

We remember the total in the tank move on the mainstream media

We remember the non-stop and live fact checking on our President and his supporters.

We remember non-stop in your face lies and open cover-ups from the media.

We remember the President and his staff being spied on.

We remember five Senators shot on a ballfield.

We remember every so-called comedy show turn into nothing but Trump hate fest.

We remember 95% negative coverage in the news.

We remember the state governors asking and getting everything they ask for and then blaming Trump for their problems.

We remember a Trump top aid verbally assaulted in two DC restaurants.

We remember people banging on the Supreme Court doors.

We remember that we were called every name in the book for supporting President Trump.

We remember that Hollywood said they would leave after Trump was elected but they stayed.

This list is endless, but you get the idea.

My friends will be my friends, but a party that has been on the attack for 4 long years does not get a free pass with me

OK, but Trump still lost. None of this addresses the real issue before us. While I agree with most of your points here, they didn't impact the election. People can still support Trump and admit he lost. People have done it through all our elections.

Expand full comment

Your obviously correct that it didn’t impact the election but it should have. Hindsight is 20/20, and that needed to be the message before Nov. 3rd. and my message to everyone through January 5th is Democrats are EVIL. No one has been held accountable and on Nov. 3rd many in our nation forgot what the democrats and the leftist mainstream media did to our President, Justice Kavanaugh, Michael Flynn, and anyone involved with the Trump campaign or administration. We let people who spit in our MAGA hat wearing faces win. Yet Erick Erickson wants the Trump supporters to move on and stop saying the election was stolen. When we stop saying it was stolen then the Durham investigation will be dropped without any criminal charges against those involved.

f course, even if Trump was cheated by election fraud, it is all his fault. It's Trump's fault that major law firms won't represent him because all the big money is for globalism and these law firms don't want to lose their clientele due to cancel culture. It's Trump's fault that even though he got nearly 74 million votes that no one is contesting, an enormous number of questionable absentee ballots in swing states showed up for Biden. It's Trump's fault that a patchwork team of lawyers who are willing to investigate a record amount of fraud claims have to file cases in front of judges that are no friends of Trump (whether Democrats or establishment Republicans). It's Trump's fault that these judges reject their cases because of standing. It's Trump's fault these judges won't rule on constitutional violations regarding state courts and state officials who have instituted election policies that arguably violate laws passed by state legislatures. It's Trump's fault that the GOP may lose the Senate because of a GA special election even though Trump has clearly thrown his full support behind Loeffler and Perdue. It's Trump's fault that if the GOP suburbanites had not voted for Biden, the GOP would still control the Senate even if both Loeffler and Perdue lost. It's Trump's faults that the media and critics like Erick have badgered Trump to concede the election for weeks, not even being willing to grant him his legal rights to take his cases to the Supreme Court. Everything is Trump's fault.  The missing infallible Bad-News-Gospel according to Trump critics.

You cannot possibly be serious.

Major law firms won't represent Trump because everyone (except you, it would seem) knows they might not get paid:

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/

The "judges that are no friends of Trump" would seem to include his own appointees. In fact, the three-judge federal appellate panel that recently slapped Trump's nonsense into the third row (in a scathing opinion written by a Trump appointee) consisted entirely of Republican appointees:

https://www.news.com.au/world/north-america/us-politics/judge-appointed-by-donald-trump-issues-withering-judgment-denying-his-appeal-in-election-lawsuit/news-story/2d6d11bd7ad4900f8c6fe802f2516ae9

https://lawandcrime.com/2020-election/trump-appointed-judge-rejects-lin-woods-creative-election-lawsuit-in-georgia/

Finally, especially when legal action is so clearly pointless as Trump's has been to anyone who knows election law (for example, no court is going to lift a finger unless the election irregularities complained of would change the outcome and Trump needs to flip not one, not two, but at least three states), telling the truth is not "badgering." There is a reason why in the entire 230 year history of the presidency, none of Trump's predecessors have come even close to what he is doing. You see, they knew that something like this tears at the fabric of American democracy by undermining confidence in that which is at its very core.

3) You might want to check out Senator Cruz's statement on one of the Constitutional Issues in a PA case filed by Congressmen Kelly and others as quoted here ( https://www.cruz.senate.gov/?p=press_release&id=5482 )  :

"The Pennsylvania Constitution requires in-person voting, except in narrow and defined circumstances. Late last year, the Pennsylvania Legislature passed a law that purported to allow universal mail-in voting, notwithstanding the Pennsylvania Constitution's express prohibition.

"This appeal argues that Pennsylvania cannot change the rules in the middle of the game. If Pennsylvania wants to change how voting occurs, the state must follow the law to do so.

"The illegality was compounded by a partisan Democrat Supreme Court in Pennsylvania, which has issued multiple decisions that reflect their political and ideological biases. Just over a month ago, Justice Alito, along with Justice Thomas and Justice Gorsuch, wrote-correctly, I believe-concerning the Pennsylvania court's previous decision to count ballots received after Election Day, that ‘there is a strong likelihood that the State Supreme Court decision violates the Federal Constitution.'

"In the current appeal, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court dismissed the claim based on a legal doctrine called ‘laches,' which essentially means the plaintiffs waited too long to bring the challenge. But, the plaintiffs reasonably argue that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has not applied that doctrine consistently and so they cannot selectively enforce it now.

"Even more persuasively, the plaintiffs point out that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has also held that plaintiffs don't have standing to challenge an election law until after the election, meaning that the court effectively put them in a Catch-22: before the election, they lacked standing; after the election, they've delayed too long. The result of the court's gamesmanship is that a facially unconstitutional election law can never be judicially challenged.

"Ordinarily, the U.S. Supreme Court would stay out of election disputes, especially concerning state law. But these are not ordinary times.

"As of today, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling, 39 percent of Americans believe that ‘the election was rigged.' That is not healthy for our democracy. The bitter division and acrimony we see across the nation needs resolution. And I believe the U.S. Supreme Court has a responsibility to the American people to ensure that we are following the law and following the Constitution. Hearing this case-now, on an emergency expedited basis-would be an important step in helping rebuild confidence in the integrity of our democratic system."

2) In case you didn't notice, about 5-10% of Republicans hate Trump as much as the Democrats and maybe more so because he took away their power to set GOP policy. You can read Erick's posts about the wealthy GOP suburbs that gave Democrats the Congress in 2018 and voted for Biden in 2020. As to judicial selection, Trump is certainly not going to pick Democrat judges who absolutely do anything and everything possible to thwart his every case. That leaves him with the choice of judges who were groomed by the GOP establishment that hate Trump for taking away their power. Erick has periodically written about the opposition to Trump by some GOP members of his administration and in the Congress/Senate. This set of people has often worked to undermine Trump's policies, with Senators like McCain (now deceased), Flake (now resigned), and Romney actively working to undermine Trump's policies, which consistently have 90-95% support among GOP voters. An example of a  less obvious undermining of Trump is from Senator Toomey of PA, who supports the Club for Growth and one of the GOP judges appointed by Trump that ruled against him. The Club for Growth is full-out-free-trade and likes open-borders so they hate Trump and would love to get rid of him. Trump's attorney's plan has always been to get their cases to SCOTUS where they are looking at a fair and honest verdict from 5 justices fully committed to issuing rulings based upon the law and not their personal political preferences (Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Barrett). If things go according to their plan, SCOTUS will take PA's case about Constitutional violations and rule on it. The court cases that Trump is losing are being rejected for lack of standing which avoids having the judges rule on constitutional violations. There is a pretty good chance we will shortly see how these 5 SCOTUS justices feel about a lack of standing and the alleged Constitutional violations.

I have an even better idea. Let's also trust anyone who agrees with Trump. However, if any of them ever disagree with Trump, then we won't trust them anymore either.

On second reading, I see your predicament: (1) we can't trust Democratic judges and (2) we can't trust judges who are supported by Republicans. I can see how that would be a problem.

No wait, I know. Why don't we just trust Donald Trump and NOBODY else.

No wait, let me guess. And if the Supreme Court rules against him, it's not because he's wrong. They hate Trump too.

1b) According to Forbes, Trump has a net worth over 3 billion (

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/2020/09/28/yes-donald-trump-is-still-a-billionaire-that-makes-his-750-tax-payment-even-more-scandalous/#113259fb2885 ):

"In interviews conducted a few months ago, eight New York City real estate experts suggested multiples to apply to those income and square footage numbers. On average, they thought the net operating income should equal about 5.4% of the value. That would suggest the asset was worth $336 million. The same experts, however, also suggested valuing the building at about $400 per square foot. That works out to a total value of $466 million. Coming up with an exact valuation is difficult, but taking the average of the two methodologies and calling it $401 million seems to be a fair approach. [new #] Repeat a similar exercise across Trump’s entire portfolio, and the assets add up to an estimated $3.7 billion. A key variable in almost every calculation is net operating income. It may get wiped out by the time Trump’s accountants finish preparing his taxes, but there’s no denying it’s there at the start, given that it’s documented on plenty of other paperwork."

Lots of people allege Trump doesn't pay his bills. If their claims are valid, there are courts that should be able to get Trump to fork over some of his 3 billion to pay his debts. Trump's NJ gambling properties did go bankrupt when other states decided to legalize gambling and crushed Atlantic City's dream of being Las Vegas East. But that was a long time ago and the bankruptcies were settled in court. Trump still gets lots of people to work for him as he doesn't build his hotels and golf courses himself. If you read the links in 1A, the Porter Wright law firm was paid at least $727K in legal fees this year, so Trump was paying them.
