What is happening in Israel is motivated by pure evil. Your outrage is eloquently stated and shared by so many of us ‘common men’ yet sadly too few of those ‘in power’ or with public platforms. May God have mercy on us. And may the Son, who will come riding on a white horse, come soon. He will deal with Hamas and the rest. Till then, praying for God’s chosen people.

Thank you for expressing my own outrage so eloquently. Every time I try I truly believe every neuron in my brain just freezes and all I can do is scream incoherently. This horrific situation has opened a seeping putrid pustule of hate, bigotry and hypocrisy that is the left. I make note of those who refuse to acknowledge the true nature of Hamas.

Tell us how you really feel, Erick. 😀 Thank you for articulating so adroitly how the rest of us feel.

Every human should be denouncing Hamas. This was evil and monstrous. There can be no excuse. Idgaf about disliking Israel. Idgaf about wanting to riot and protest. Only monsters do these things, and to think that there is a justification in how they have been treated in the past or whatever deprivation they grew up enduring is remarkable childish. Love can’t fix this. Turning the cheek can’t fix this. I’ll leave their forgiveness to God. The armed forces need to arrange that meeting.

There is right and wrong good and evil thanks for reminding everyone. There is no difference between the taliban and hamas other than there location on the earth

I’m sure you’re as weary as me at having to call out both sides lol

Thank you for taking my blind outrage, organizing it, then giving it back to me in words.

I feel better prepared for this weekend's family event. As always, well stated in pursuit of truth.

Thank you!

Better prepared for this weekend's family event? May I suggest something more fun...like perhaps a root canal??

Way to go, Eric! Job well done. Truth is not subjective, does not take sides. Thank you for standing for truth, no matter who it exposes.

I do not think the timing, or even the modus operandi, of the attack on Israel by Hamas was accidental. Strangely, it's almost directly out of a Jack Carr novel. The world is distracted by the war in Ukraine against a nuclear superpower. By Biden's own admission, we are low on artillery ammunition. According to my brother (a Major in the US Army), we're sending our equipment to Ukraine so we can replace it with new equipment (further enriching the defense contractors), which I'm sure doesn't happen overnight. Our military is more focused on cultural issues than strength. Biden depleted our strategic oil reserve early in his administration to bring down gas prices and hasn't replenished it. European countries have given even more per capita to Ukraine than we have. While fighting a war to weaken Russia, the West has weakened their own military capacity. In the meantime, we have a southern border and a northern border we know terrorists have crossed. The methods used by Hamas over the weekend were intentional; they knew the outrage their actions would provoke. And they were right. We have Nikki Haley saying that an attack on Israel is an attack on America and Lindsey Graham saying that the US is in a holy war. Americans are becoming further divided over their support of Israel or support of Palestine, and both sides are escalating the rhetoric. We're once again hearing that there is no neutral ground; you're either with us or with the terrorists. America is no position to fight a war, even if we are attacked on our soil, which wouldn't surprise me at this point. The warhawks would have us double down in Ukraine while simultaneously provoking a war with Iran. A terrorist attack in the US would cause Americans to acquiesce to the further erosion of our civil liberties. As much as I can't stand Donald Trump, I don't believe any of this, including the invasion of Ukraine, would have happened under his watch. It may actually be that what we don't like about Trump as a person protected us and our allies on the world stage. Biden is the picture of weakness. He can hardly stay awake during his own speeches. His freeing up of the $6 billion to Iran was a terrible foreign policy move. That he and his administration can't see that Ukraine, two porous borders, and an administration that believes climate change is worse than nuclear war weakens our country is beyond me. Biden's failures are going to usher Trump back into office, not the Trump that kept the peace, but an angry, vengeful Trump with something to prove to the world. Or maybe even worse, Nikki Haley. I've got to say that I'm disappointed RFK, Jr. has been silent about the attacks on Israel. What we need now is a leader condemning terrorism and supporting Israel but not trying to cause WWIII. Where is he? I'm just shaking my head, taking deep breaths, and praying that those in power act with wisdom.

Excellent points in general, but I think you need to drop the line that Rashida Talib said the holocaust gives her a calming feeling. You make it sound like she's celebrating the holocaust, but it's clear in context that she is claiming to be happy for Palestinians to give up land to Jews after the holocaust to help heal. I think she's being grossly disingenuous, but it is disingenuous of you in turn to imply she's celebrating the holocaust.

I have heard several leftists quoted by the right this week, only to learn later the quotes were taken out of context. Come on, conservatives. When you sink to the level of the mainstream media, you lose credibility. Be better.

Back in the day, Senator Hillary Clinton said Gen. Petraeus' testimony required "the willing suspension of disbelief'

The Progressives have long suspended their disbelief about Islamic terror, not to mention any remaining shred of common sense.

Just seeing Tlaib refuse to say something as simple as, "Of course I condemn killing babies" just reinforces my belief she is the most vile, most despicable member of Congress.

And everytime I see Bernie Sanders say anything, I remember his initials are - appropriately- 'BS.'

You nailed it. I, do, however need to personally be careful that I also don’t become smug. But that’s a personal issue I have and God is dealing with me. All that you wrote encourages me that there are still people left that know right from wrong. Thank you brother.

The radical Muslims want to kill anyone who is not a Muslim.

Iran is the puppeteer in this story. You have to understand why. They need the world to be covered in blood so that the 12 th Iman will appear and bring the world under Muslim influence.

I saw Rep. Hoyer (Dem leadership) on TV defending Rep. Tlaib for her “Palestinian” flag display in Congress. He compared it to him flying a Danish flag, as if the Danes are still going a-viking all over Europe instead of giving it up 1000 years ago. I wonder what he’d say if some Rep. flew a Confederate battle flag outside his office.
