Moving to hear this affirmation of Joy on the day Twitch apparently took his life. I lost my mother to Alzheimer's in 2021, but we all dodged the advanced stage where she would no longer have known us. I miss her like crazy, but am so happy she is out of memory care and no longer has to dread the Alzheimers future.
I pray for individuals that cannot feel joy during Advent, as Twitch apparently could not. Extremely sad things happen. I believe it helps to be able to see eternity when now is especially sad.
This was amazing, thanks Erick. Both my parents have passed so Christmas was hard the first few years. But my church has a liturgy every Christmas Eve to celebrate the Nativity of Jesus and that service has been what helps me thru the holiday season. I miss my parents but Jesus is where my heart is and thru Him, yes we can all find the peace, comfort, and love the angels sang to the shepherds on Christmas night!
Thank you for sharing this, especially for those of us who have parents and loved ones in similar situations this Christmas season. This testimony makes me grateful for the greatest gift of all; the good news of the birth of the Messiah Christ Jesus.
Wow. This is sad AND uplifting at the same time. I'm so glad she was able to comfort her son. We went through this with my Grandmother and my Dad and it's gut wrenching. Thank you for sharing this. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing the rest of your chat with him. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Erick, you should also consider inviting Gary Hamrick, Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA for an interview. He is one of the few pastors who is unafraid to take on today's cultural issues from the pulpit. He would make a great interview!
I am glad that this worked out. Glory to God.
Wow. It is because of you, your story, stories like this, your faith that I have come back to Jesus.
Thank you.

Thank you, Erick. I went through something very similar with my own mom. Faith is transformative to us and to those around us. Merry Christmas!

Wow. Thank you
Wow. Touches the heart for all of us who have experienced such changes. God gets us through them all. We smile again.
Erick, I needed to hear that this morning. It came at the right moment when I needed it.
Thank you so much for sharing this.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I guess the audio caused the comments to lock up, but they're open now. Sorry about that.
