Oh, wait for Kevin McCarthy to try and impeach Biden.

Is there a way to give to politicians and keep the source of the donation semi-anonymous? I would like a reputable organization to set up a portal where I can give to the politician of my choice without the recipient getting my contact information? I would be happy if the portal charged a couple% for administration fees to run the service. For Republicans to be successful, someone has to block the case source of the grifters. I don't care if the IRS gets the info. I want the money to go to the candidate and not to a professional money raising organization, its staff and owners.

How can we let them know, although we shouldn't have to, that Hunter Biden is not the absolute, drop-dead issue for most of us?

Sure, politicians and their families that use tax dollars and political leverage for their own gain should be prosecuted. But do we want to waste our tax dollars now, on top of all the tax dollars and time that they wasted on Trump, to try and nab a guy who's political career is over.

We've got important issues that affect all of our lives on a daily basis. We need to tackle the big picture first.

The House is gonna investigate, investigate, investigate. And they're gonna send subpoenas, subpoenas, subpoenas.

The subpoenas will be ignored.

So they are supposed to do nothing? I would love to throw out every senator and congress person in DC. They are all a bunch of money hungry egotistical holier than thou losers. Unfortunately we are stuck with what we have, so we might as well play hard ball and go right after the top.

Shocked. Shocked, I say. Not that Republicans wasted the most slam-dunk election cycle in my lifetime...no, that I expected. Shocked that Doug isn't blowing up the site today. Jackass.

"Dumbasses. What a bunch of idiots. The American people just rejected the GOP “own the libs” strategy. They signaled they’d love to have responsible adult Republicans in charge. In fact, from NEW YORK STATE !!!! to Arizona, voters elected Republicans who ran on local issues tied to the economy and crime.

The GOP won the House of Representatives in large part because Lee Zeldin and the New York Republicans focused like a laser on the economy and crime."

Sorry Erick, but I don't think you are connecting the dots here. The focus on the economy requires to dig deep into the economic destruction that the Biden Democrats are waging on the people of the US and world from their ESG and DEI... war on fossil fuels, work ethic and reverse racism... where China is at the middle and the Biden crime family appears to be connected to it all and Biden compromised by Chinese business dealings.

Crime too is embedded in this from the Soros-funded DAs that the Democrats support. The woke social justice project has been an abject failure; yet the Democrats prevented the red wave in the face of all of that evidence that Democrat ideas of governance are the cause. The Biden Administration is pushing all of this from the top perch, and it is all contained within the globalist Great Reset play book that again, China seems be behind. So if Biden is compromised it would explain why this once moderate has gone full left radical.

I figured it was a wistful dream that the GOP would actually listen to the voters and focus on actual issues instead of middle school payback. SMH

Why bother voting in the runoff? Two morally corrupt candidates, two ethically vacant parties. And no option for "none of the above."

You have a lot of comments on this one. I will just add my voice to this. I want them to investigate and bring justice to the aristocracy in America. That is important. You are not wrong about the spineless GOP in DC. Let's get them to do both please. GOP, find your spine and I will re-elect you. Leave your spine at home, and do what Erick is suggesting and you'll be one term wonders. Promise.

Maybe Hunter is a "three-fer".

“Instead of working with President Biden to address issues important to the American people, like lower costs, congressional Republicans’ top priority is to go after President Biden with politically motivated attacks chock full of long-debunked conspiracy theories,” Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House counsel’s office, told The Post.

A "new" Congress come 2023, but the same old BS from those, many of whom are so old that the cobwebs are beginning to accumulate. Things will never change in DC as Donald Trump quickly learned. Your comments were right on Erick.

Erick, you’re spot on. But, I don’t think McCarthy et al can’t pivot away from that first announcement. Your substack message helps. I believe people with brains read it and go, ‘Hmmm’. It was a stupid first move, but now they can shut up and say what they’ll do about inflation, letting drilling happen again, etc. The problem is, Democrats have the prevailing winds of media support where they don’t even have to try to make sense. It’ll make them fat and lazy. Conservatives have to be smarter and reading your input is a great way to course correct.

I had to wear sunglasses reading this. The burning cauldron of the sarcasm lamp almost scorched my retinas. I should have stopped reading… but when something is this correct & true, you’ve just got to gut through the pain! I hope the Republican leadership & the RNC grasp these truths! Great great article…..sigh…..I can’t refer to these people as dumbmasses from the pulpit…..sigh……

I am confused---I seem to remember our Republican reps making no secret of the fact they would investigate the Bidens given the chance after the laptop story surfaced--meaning if they gained control of the House. It should be no surprise they did this whether it was first or 12th down the list. Saying that, I would prefer a laptop investigation as it relates to coordinated voter suppression and also the FBI's involvement.
