What if I told you that a group of racists targeted primarily non-white Americans in a major city over the weekend, preventing them from attending worship and systemically hunting them street by street?
Could you imagine the reaction if these were red hat wearing Trump supporters harassing Muslims trying to worship at a mosque? There would be calls for national conversations on American bigotry and blanket statements of condemnation towards everyone on the political Right as racist. The silence and lack of reflection (aside from a blanket statement condemning anti-semitism all while doing what they can to keep Israel from winning their war with Hamas) from the political Left tells you all you need to know. The mass protest movement activist networks whip up to try to turn out support for Democrats every four years is not fighting against racism and bigotry. Both find a home on the Left.
Could I point out that this behavior has been getting progressively worse partially because people on the right would have a hissy fit if we used the term "Nazi" or said these people were acting like Nazis over the past few years? Yet here we are with exactly the same behavior and the same type of people turning a blind eye. When I read "Ordinary Men", I learned exactly how easy it is to convince even "good" people to not see what is happening, then to participate in it. Can we all now get on board with stopping it?

I once knew a woman from West Virginia who would vote a straight-party Democratic ticket, every time, without question. She was an anti-abortion, pro-gun religious conservative Baptist Christian. I asked her, then why do you vote for left-wingers who hold abortion as their sacrament, want to ban all guns, hate you and want to silence you simply because you're a Christian?.... Here is what she said: "I know all that. But my daddy, my granddaddy, and my great-granddaddy always voted for Democrats, so I will too. That just how we vote in our family. It's always been about the working man versus the management." Honestly, how can a person argue with someone so brainwashed whose mind is completely made up and refuses to re-evaluate what they are doing and the values of the people they support?

I watched A Small Light and I’m watching We Were the Lucky Ones. I thought we learned from this. It’s horrifying to see this happening in THIS country but I feel so helpless to stop it.

Once again I am heartbroken. Until October 7th, I was not aware of how much antisemitism exists in this country. It is absolutely disgusting.
