By the way, I can think of only two potential GOP presidential candidates who will stand against the establishment. One is Ron DeSantis, and the other rhymes with bump.
This is EXACTLY why "Bump-rhymer" is popular among conservatives. I like Ron DeSantis a lot and, at this point he would be my choice for our candidate. But Trump has a track record of standing up to the establishment. It's not some pie-in-the-sky hope based upon a campaign promise, he's been there, done that, earned the T-shirt.
"Primary" all 39 of the GOP representatives who supported the corrupt and grotesque omnibus spending, which includes hundreds of millions of dollars in pork and other frivolous spending of our hard-earned tax dollars. See the list of 39 here - https://americanfaith.com/list-of-republicans-who-passed-democrat-led-omnibus-bill-h-r-2471/. The only name I recognized was Liz Cheney, no surprise.
Welcome to the remnant, Erick! If these parties want to be in power, why do they act like they want to be in the minority? I've voted in every presidential election since I turned 21 and the vast majority of congressional and local elections. I'm seriously considering stopping, I don't want to vote for crazies.
Good job Erick! One of the most frustrating things is that it feels as if nobody’s fighting for the things the party says it believes in. Where is leadership on the border? Where is leadership pounding the table saying how can we trust this administration with Russia-Ukraine after their inept Afghanistan performance. When does somebody stand up against the destruction of the economy due to out of control spending and the destruction of our energy industry. I think they’re afraid of getting called out by the corporate media. They go along to get along. They’re weak which is why the vast middle class has moved to Trump and America First policies. Seems to me that the only ones with any guts are the people pounding America First. And based on performance or lack thereof, I’m fine with this!

Amen! There's plenty of grift on our side - a simple acknowledgement of human nature.
