I love capitalism, I really do. Generally speaking, it gives hard-working people the opportunity to improve their station in life without limits. But I get VERY tired of literally everything having a price tag: Top-secret files, legislation, defense secrets, election tampering, our (formerly) most hallowed institutions, and even our heritage are all for sale, with dark money as the currency. "Screw what's best for the nation, I'm doing what's best for ME." And to think we call them "public servants."

The Supreme Court is one of the 3 branches of our government. It is independent, learned that in the 6th or 7th grade. They should tell the Democrats to go pound sand. In the past the Democrats would use the courts to get things they could not get through legislation. Learned in an old brick school house but facts

are facts and the truth is the truth.

The Reformation analogy is excellent. I have used it in the past with some of my Roman Catholic friends.

Erick, Erick, Erick: Corn Pop told me that Clarence Thomas ain't really black. You're not gonna doubt Biden's go-to on subjects of race relations, are you?

DT is the most hated but Thomas is a close second. One of the biggest haters I would believe is Anita Hill. Hill followed him from one dept to another> If she originally felt that bad, she would not have followed.

Then CT married a white woman. Well, as it is said; "Hell hath no fury as the scorn of a woman". I will never forget that superficial surpluforous on and quickly off chicken crap grin of JB in his part of the technical lynching hearing. I believe CT has rendered reasonably good judgment on cases.

I am not a wealthy man nor will I ever be. Harlan Crow is wealthy and guess what? He got his wealth the old fashion way: he earned it. I have worked in the construction industry for many years. For 14 years, I had my own company. I did a lot of work for Trammell-Crow commercial real estate developers. Their development effort created a lot of work for many people and allowed us to make a decent living. I am grateful for what he achieved. His "rising tide" of properties development floated many boats. I am not jealous of his wealth and his kindness and financial support of Clarence Thomas is exactly the thing I would like to do for other people too. Seriously, I would only desire to have great wealth so that I couldhelp people like that too. My guess is that Mr. Crow has donated a lot of money to many charitable causes and my bet is that he has done it anonomously. I also guess that he has helped many more individuals just as he has Clarence Thomas. God bless Mr. Crow! We need more folks like him.

The left of center democrats find our system of checks and balances troublesome and annoying. They’d much prefer to view the Constitution as an historic document, but put real governance in the hands of highly-educated, uber-rich elites, many of whom reside ‘north of Richmond’. They want controllable presidents and have no appreciation for our heritage, masking their contempt with charges of ‘racism’ at our founders, used only as a useful cudgel to pry away the protections the founders set in place. There are a few good democrats for which this doesn’t describe, but the democrat party harbors the cultural and spiritual virus that’s strangling America. It’s imperative they be voted out and removed from power if our nation is to survive.

Well said. The only real use for wealth (once one's family needs are secured) is to glorify God by selectively giving it away.
