There should be more than 1 Senator opposed to at least some of those 400 promotions!

Call out the GOP senators by name so we can put the heat on them!

Yes, please tell us by name who the Republicans are who are opposing Tuberville. I assume they include Romney, Collins and Murkowski. Who else?

Erick, thank you for telling the truth, encouraging Sen. Tuberville and calling out the cowardly so-called "conservatives" who will not support him.

EVERY Republican x

should stand up and join him.

So some of the “conservative” senators are siding with the democrats. You know who they are the ones who “were not” trump endorsed and got voted in.

As I said before. Getting a moderate republican elected is fine until they aren’t.

What difference does it make when we throw up a moderate because they will win as opposed to a trump endorsed candidate who won’t win when we get basically the same thing as a dem with a aisle crossing republican.

Never seen a dem cross the aisle in the same manner. Ever.

It’s maddening to think people don’t recognize the false conservative candidates.

Erick,

Who are the Republicans siding with the White House and not supporting Senator Tuberville?

Erick,

I've followed you for a couple of year now. I went to the Gathering and was the guy who gave you that box of cigars as you checked in.

I have to say that this was the most impactful of your writings that I have read. Thank you for this.

Protecting life, all life, is a hill I am willing to die on. All wokeness aside, if this is what it takes for the military to stop using my tax money to fund abortions, then so be it.

Cheers

Thanks for raising this issue. I sent the following comments to both our senators, wish I could do more.

"Senator Cruz

My husband and I are both supporting Senator Tuberville in his fight to stop military funding of abortion travel. However, the Senate should not approve the promotion list ad hoc even if the administration gives in on the funding issue. My husband is a veteran and we have four kids who have served or are active duty. We have skin in the game. The quality of leadership is abysmal right now, too many generals more interested in furthering their careers by embracing woke ideology rather than the policies that will promote a strong military. The promotion list should be reviewed, voted on individually if necessary, and the woke personnel stripped out. What are your thoughts?"

i pray for Senator Tuberville and the righteous stand he is taking. And i approve of Erick's headline for this post. It is not hyperbole as some would claim. As a retired senior officer and as the humble author of "OMG, We are Killing Babies" i am 100% aligned with the Senator's stand. Too many of today's senior military civilians and flag officers are embracing 'woke' policies over warfighting. And shame on the Republicans who help to facilitate the left's sacrifice of babies by not taking a strong stand against it. On these points, i agree with Mark Malcom's comment a few minutes ago. We are not only positioning the company for defeat by a rising adversary. We are also inviting Divine judgment by continuing to watch our country wobble morally.

I stand with the Senator from Alabama

Tommy Tuberville is doing Yoeman's work and needs to keep it up. We are not less safe because of what he is doing. We are heading into a shooting war with China and need the DEI out of the military. There should only be up or down votes for nominations. No unanimous consent on any of them. AND, we can shut down the government too. THEN after that is resolved, continue moving forward with impeachment proceedings against Joe Biden. This is not an either/or proposition. We can walk and chew gum at the same time meaning do it all. There is zero reason why any of this should be considered dependent on any of the rest.

Good article. I am with the Senator from Alabama.

I think it is more than just promoting woke flag officers. Democrats want abortion as in issue. They are and will continue to run on it because they have nothing else. As a retired Army officer, I would tell you that vacant flag officer positions are not going to break the military.

I applaud Erick for finally calling abortion what it is - murdering kids. I simply call it infanticide. All conservatives should start saying this.

God bless Senator Tuberville. I would like to know who in the Republican Party is speaking out him. Schumer is just beyond despicable.

This mockery of process is how we end up with "omnibus" budgets passed via "reconciliation".

Taxpayer monies do not have to be shipped to Ukraine for laundering; the jagoffs in Congress on all three sides of the aisle can wash the honesty and reason out of every dollar right there in DC.

You've told us how the RINO Senators stand on this issue. Now tell us how the Republican presidential candidates stand. Are Pence and DeSantis supporting Tuberville? How about Haley? Vivek? And what of Trump? Where does he stand? I wonder, Erick. Are your RINOs good conservative Republicans or are your RINOs "establishment" sell-outs?

Good point....who are these so-called conservatives who are not standing with Tuberville?
