TIRED -Tired of the Democrats and Govt. controlling things that know nothing about and then asking us to PAY taxes on everything 30% Fed, 6% Ga. fuel tax, sales tax on everything we buy, property tax, etc, (probably totaling probably over 50% of our earnings)

Then they P (urinate) away the Billions$ and then resent we question their spending. AWFUL

Erick-Woods Erickson, I am not getting tired of DOGE. Simply, it just has started, and I would like to go on- simply it is going keep the left on defense and make them look bad with voters in terms of having defend something that cannot be defended. For too long our side has been not informing voters of what we stand for.

You know and this has been rehashed, but…… a lot of people lost their jobs and businesses during the Covid lockdowns. How about vaccine mandates or the end of the Keystone pipeline. Corporate buy outs and downsizing is another way to lose a job. To all the government employees that could lose their jobs it’s a big world out there welcome to it.

Some of the probationary employees who can be fired at will are only probationary because they were recently promoted. It is so unseemly for people who support DOGE in general to gloat over this happening to good people. Many are veterans.

I think the fast pace, rip the bandaid off approach is necessary. If it can lead to sustained cost savings, efficiency and better stewardship of our tax dollars, that will keep the swing voters. The results will speak for themselves more than the Dems demonizing all of it come mid-terms.

JR, even as I agree with you and Erick I’m left feeling there’s a more sensitive and orderly way to get the job done. People who are being let go left work unfinished that might possibly be harmful to others needing it to help them in some way or another.

Maybe not.

Yes, change is unsettling for sure, but with trillions of dollars in debt, as a nation, this action is needed. We simply cannot kick this can down the road any further.
