Israel would most likely not be in the situation it is in had Joe Biden not allowed Iran to make $80 billion off oil sales for the past two years. Hamas says it has been planning this for two years. It has had sufficient Iranian funds over that time, thanks to Joe Biden.
The Biden Administration does have blood on its hands for its arrogant and naive foreign policy over the past two years. They’ve allowed Iranian oil sales because, very arrogantly, they chose to deprive the United States of energy self-sufficiency and, in the words of the White House spokesman, needed to balance supply and demand. Those Iranian oil sales funded drone development for the Russians and subsidized Hamas and Hezbollah. Conservatives predicted this would happen and were right.
Notwithstanding that preamble and all my concerns, let me just say that he is still our President. Like him or not, he is. Scripture commands those of us of faith to pray for our leaders and those in authority, including the President of the United States.
Tomorrow, he heads to Israel at a time of crisis. Regardless of my strongly held views about his policies, his words these past two weeks have been on point. Without nuance, he has stood by Israel and condemned Hamas. He has supported Israel’s right to respond aggressively and called for the eradication of Hamas. He has condemned the conspiracists who deny what happened and openly, clearly articulated the horror.
God bless him for that.
I pray for his safety and that God gives him moral clarity. I hope he realizes the errors of his policy. But, for now, God bless the President for going to Israel at this time of crisis.
EVERY foreign policy he has made all his life has been on the wrong side of history
Yes, God bless him.... and bless his heart.... his little heart...
