Greetings from a mountaintop in the middle of nowhere. I’m technically on vacation, having not taken vacation last week. But the news waits for no one and this is all worth passing on to you, because I suspect a lot of it will be mentioned briefly in passing so the press corps can check a box, but not dwell.
As some past President once said "Elections have consequences." For all who voted for Biden, I hope they're either enjoying their consequences or will consider voting differently in the future.
Erick, This is a huge news item that I hope places like Fox News picks up as well. This really shows you what we have running the country now. It is shameful and so double faced it is simply unbelievable. These people must not believe that they will ever have to give an account. So sad.
re: Immigration policy differences from S. America vs. Cuba/Haiti - voting demographic. Castro escapees have leaned heavily Repub/Conservative - Dems don't want that kind of immigrant. Haitian refugees are a tossup, but get lumped into the overall Caribbean policy - no Cubans so no Haitians. South of TX/AZ/NM/CA borders, they're wearing Biden T-shirts; now THAT'S a demographic Dems like.
In addition, the optics of a truly-repressed people waving Old Glory as their symbol of freedom (from the very system Dems lean into) contradicts the narrative that our Flag is actually a negative trigger for "oppressed" (but actually free) people. Or so we're told...
Cubans get the double-whammy of being Conservative (escaping the left's vision of our future having lived it already) and viewing the US flag as a symbol of imperfect, but best available example of what a free nation represents in our world today.
I know I sound like a broken record....but again....this is an example of why I am furious with any supposedly conservative person that liked Trump policies but voted for Biden for the sake of "normalcy" or no "mean tweets". What did they think would happen under a Biden administration???? Are they happy with what is happening to our country?? Do they regret their vote???? I feel like everyone of them should be forced to get a big "B" tattoo on their forehead like a scarlet letter and be ridiculed and tormented in the public square.
The Biden administration aspires to be the Cuban regime. What people don’t seem to be getting is the fact they are not helping the Cuban people or stopping people from crossing our border because they DON’T want to. It’s that simple. They WANT to take the republic DOWN. Again, it’s that simple. This ain’t your grandfather’s Democrat party. These folks are MARXISTS parading as a SOCIALISTS parading as MODERATE DEMOCRATS.
I grew up in Florida, old enough to remember when many well to do and middle class Cubans risked their lives by the boatload to live in freedom in the USA. I can't believe we're turning our backs on them now...

I am with you. I don't even know what the response should be. Every day their incompetence is manifested in some incoherent, ridiculous speech by Biden or an inappropriate, offensive, clumsy, clueless declaration by Harris. I'm truly at a loss, and my frustration just builds while I watch the corporate media slobber over these two clowns. I think my only recourse is to pray and hope they all get voted into oblivion in 22 and 24. #desantis2024 G-d help us.
