The usual October Surprise, long on sensationalism and pathetically short on substance, complete with the inevitable anonymous sources and shadowy accusers. That said, the accusations may be completely accurate for all I know, but that leaves out the fact that for Republicans and conservatives, repentance and forgiveness are unattainable in the eyes of the dedicated radical Marxist left.

The story even includes a quote from Walker's ex-wife which stops short of the next sentence in which she notes that the couple had a religious conversion experience as a result, that of course not being allowed to deflect from the desired scandalmongering. Meanwhile, Raphael Warnock's own spousal abuse issues are busily swept under the rug. I suspect that the internal polls are much less favorable to Warnock than desired.

Will you vote for a baby killer, Erick?

One word, Ukraine. I'm becoming concerned about the rumblings on the Nationalist Right against support for Ukraine. With control of the next Congress (for the House at least) anticipated to be in the hands of Republicans, I'm thinking keeping the Senate in Democratic control for another couple of years may not be such a bad idea. I'm not sure I trust Herschel Walker on foreign policy.

Thanks for writing your advice, Erick. Herschel's team now has to read your advice and do what you say. Not rocket science, but it takes money. Anyone on Truth Social, please go and firmly ask President Trump to release collected monies to help Herschel and the other candidates he verbally supported, right now, right away.

Reading this insightful piece, I can tell you have lots of experience working on political campaigns, Erick. I just hope Herschel and his people read it so they can get their butts in gear before the weekend gets here.

A lot of comments made assumptions about me and my other votes based on my refusal to vote for Walker.

It’s a shame you consider my stance to be disgusting. It would do everyone some good to consider another viewpoint and at least emphasize. It is reasonable to have differing views. Frankly, with the Supreme Court in its current state, I feel a lot more comfortable voting this way. The Supreme Court was the reason I previously held my nose.

I don't think there'll be any nose-holders voting for Herschel Walker. I've heard his response. I believe him and I believe he'll still win the senate seat. He's already confessed to his disrespectful, dishonest, and disgraceful actions in his autobiography, and all of the stuff alleged is from his crazy period. If he's lying and is caught in a lie, then we may have a different outcome but as of now, particularly since his response to his son's charges were that he loves him despite anything, he's a winner.

The rest of you folks picked Walker. Was there lots of Democrats who crossed over and voted for Walker

because he was / is a Georgia football hero? Or because Warnock could easily defeat him. I voted otherwise. The last time we lost our senators because Republicans did not turn out because they did not trust the vote. Walker will be my vote because he is a Republican. Keep Georgia red.

I have been following Christian Walker Instagram for several years and I had no idea he was Herschel's son until yesterday. Lol. He seems like an upstanding young man, although excitable for sure. I am solidly in group 4. Gonna hold my nose and vote. I realize that the person in office is always going to be far from perfect.. Hopefully he will vote in ways to stop wrecking our country.

There are many things "we don't know." You ended up focusing on what you do know (which is a good deal) and used that knowledge as a path forward into the "unknown."

Sound familiar? As always, thank you for your thoughts on this!

Nan, I just read your comment and I wholly agree. I get a lot of requests via email and text messages every day from Herschel begging for money. He is not the only one.

I read an article last week that said the Sabe America PAC was going to transfer its funds to MAGA, Inc. and then distribute them to Trump’s endorsed candidates. If so, what is he waiting for?

I’m in the group that will vote for Kemp and not Walker. I have said for over a year I wouldn’t vote for Walker. I’ll have to live with my choice if it comes down to one vote, but I’m tired of horrible senate candidates in Georgia and am drawing the line.

I am disgusted by Trump's refusal to part with a dime of his 'political stash' to help Walker with getting his message out. What a turd Trump is becoming....it's ALLL about him ALLLL the time. I loved his policies and I thought he was a great President because of them but I hated his pettiness and thin skin. I loved the fact that he fought and fought against the evil Deep State who has no soul. But this constant rant on the election being stolen and his further divisive stances are wearing me down and I don't want him to run in 2024. But I think his ego will not allow that and he will further wreck the Republican party and divide the country he SAYS he loves. Can't ANYONE talk any sense to this man? If he doesn't pump some money into Hershel's campaign so he can defend himself against Warnock I am DONE with him.

America will get what it deserves. We are a nation of ignorant, immoral and apathetic people. Our Republic is slowly dying and the sheep sleepwalk to the slaughterhouse.

Erick, I think there are intangible factors in this election that will play a big role in the outcome. I know from listening and reading your political analysis for many years you sometimes focus on the "trees instead of the forest". I am more optimistic about Herschel's chances than you are. I think this election will be more like 2016 than 2020. In 2016, you were positive that Trump would lose. The morning after the election you featured a photo of crow on a plate that you had to eat. The "forest" in this election is that GA voters have now for years experienced the living hell that is a Biden/democrat administration. We have seen public schools that are more focused on equity, gender affirmation and revisionist history than quality, traditional education. We have seen the evil of "gender affirming care" where hospitals are actually promoting genital mutilation and puberty blockers. Men are starting to dominate women's sports. Politics replacing common sense approaches to pandemic response, law enforcement, and everyday living such as the car we drive and the food we eat. Inflation and crime are at record levels. I could go on and on. We are experiencing the dystopia of democrat leadership. I believe voters will vote based on these factors more so than Herschel's past transgressions.

I’ll vote for Walker. Teddy Kennedy did much worse and was considered “The Lion of the Senate” and Robert Byrd was a Grand Wizard in the KKK… Dems are always Dems and October is always October. Is Walker a saint? No. But we’re all sinners and I believe he’ll vote more in line with what I believe than I know Warnock ever will.

Heck Warnock just voted for the Climate bill which appears to put a big damper on the 8,000 Hyundai jobs that were coming to Savannah. He voted for the massive spending which is caused massive inflation.

A vote for Warnock is a vote for Schumer, Sanders, the hard core left, boys playing girls sports, abortion at birth, higher taxes, open borders, criminals running free and top down authoritarian progressive control across the board. You’ll do as the elites say and have no choice in the matter. No thank you! I’ll vote for freedom and liberty. As Larry once said, “Go Herschel Go!
