Ralston needs to be canceled. If Dr. Seuss can be canceled why not D. Ralston? (Vote him OUT!)

Our federal government says that the large birthmark (portwine stain) on my face is a handicap. It may have kept me from certain jobs, or even from getting into the gospel ministry. One presbytery turned me down for the ministry because I am "unstable," so I joined the Army, and now am Army Reserve retired.

Several years ago (before COVID), contemplating the moral failures of the USA and reading the Book of Jeremiah, I got the idea of treating the Russians the way Jeremiah told Zedekiah to treat the Babylonians. In Russia and eastern Europe Christianity seems to be on the rise. After the Republican debacle in the Senate races in Georgia last year, I started contributing less to political causes in the USA and have paid out money for a tour of churches and museums in Russia instead -- around Easter of this coming year. The elders of my Conservative (PCA) church have encouraged me. God willing, I'll go -- and find some people with whom I can share my translation of the Westminster Shorter Catechism into Russian! We live in a crazy world where Vladimir Putin stands up for "family values" more than do the leaders of the majority party in the United States. For the USA I think "parental rights" is the way to go. Start a "Parents' Party!"

The majority of Republicans - both nationally and in Georgia are simply Clinton-era Democrats who've gone through rebranding. They are in a perpetual state of organized retreat to Progressives and want us to keep voting for them because, "Well, it's better than the lefties". If the last few years of unlimited spending and encroachment of our rights hasn't proven this beyond the shadow of a doubt, I don't know what else will. Ralston has made a name defending sexual predators...yet he's the LEADER of the Republicans. https://www.ajc.com/news/crime--law/charges-dropped-against-ralston-client-accused-luring-teen-boys/3fTqtGmWAmajRrewg9QfUK/

Eric, has the local media covered this story? Has the media in the speaker's district covered the story? I know there's a lot of great people in his area that wouldn't approve of any of this.

Sounds like the Republican Speaker of the House has a lot in common with the former Republican President: a personal vendetta to destroy Republicans and help the Dems.

Despicable.

The late Charlie Daniels had it wrong. The Devil did go down to Georgia, but he succeeded in stealing a lot of souls - and Georgia Democrats seem hell bent on helping him get a few more.

Emailed my state Senator...not that I have much faith in government officials, period, but he's the only one supposedly representing me that isn't already a Democrat who hates me.

Oh come on folks, this "collector" just needs Unconscious Bias and Diversity training and he will be a good citizen. Isn't that what the left tells us? I'll say it again, we have front row seats to the end of the Republican Party in Georgia. Thanks big boy speaker. (I won't dignify him by typing his name)

You have our attention and our concern. Would you like to recommend who we can contact to voice our concern over this outrageous situation? You’ve spoken about this many times. The Parole Board should be rebuilt and it’s official standing modified to include accountability. What the hell is going on with Georgia Republicans. Give us a list and I’ll let them know how their actions are playing out with Georgians.

David Ralston is a USDA Prime sphincter - I'm trying to keep it clean - with a proven record of being maliciously vindictive. He has pulled these power plays many times before, yet Georgia voters reinstated him in November 2020, thus condoning his strongarm tactics. He came after Erick when the latter was still a regional radio host for his condemnation of Ralston's leadership and his legal practice, and now he's targeted Singleton and is willing to go scorched earth to accomplish it. He's a bully and a disgusting human being whose sole interest is in garnering and wielding power, and it pisses me off that Georgia's District 7 (thank you Bill) hasn't eradicated him from the Georgia Assembly. The very best thing that could happen to Ralston is he drunkenly makes an insulting comment to Mike Tyson about his face tattoo.

Very nicely articulated, Mr. Scofield. Excellent closing comment.

Erick, this is a public service. A quick Google search: David Ralston is the 73rd Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives, a position he has held since 2010. He was first elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2002, and represents House District 7, which includes Fannin and Gilmer counties and a portion of Dawson County. It seems like the good folks in District 7 would have the most immediate impact to get Mr. Ralston's attention. Know any leaders, pastors, educators, physicians in that area? Let's begin there.
