I hope you can agree that antisemites are as**oles. One could argue that Germany's Weimar was run by dumb**ses whose incompetence paved the way for Adolph Hitler. Under him, there was none of the hyperinflation, mass unemployment and chaos of the 1920's. I dare say, however, that Germany's future ultimately turned out not to be better under the as**ole.
My point is not to compare Trump to Hitler, the latter of whom I consider both smarter and much more evil. Rather, I offer this to illustrate the proposition that whereas a nation can survive mere dumb**ses, of which we've had several, it hands ultimate power to an as**ole at its peril.
