I've said this before but I Harris's incompetence is kind of like Biden's senility. It's something that everyone with two eyes can see but Democrats are desperate to cover up. They are trying to insulate her from hard interviews and even stacked a debate in her favor all to avoid the collapse in the polls she had in the 2020 primary after she started strong. Whether you're a Republican or a Democrat, you need to be able to communicate your vision for the country and why you're running. If you can't, you'll have a hard time getting elected.
She talks of taxing the rich to pay for her new economy, does that include Pelosi, Gates, Soros, Mrs. Jobs, Bezos, and the multitude of others that donates to the DNC. Just asking.
This is a good analysis. I don’t think it’s applicable to compare 22 to now. Mid terms have a different dynamic.
A fair comparison is more 2016. And maybe 2020.
But given in both of those contests Hitlery( not a misspelling) and Biden were polling better than Harris is and The wicked witch lost while drools a lot barely won.
I don’t think half of America hates Trump. I think they don’t like him but hate is too strong. Some do in fact hate him but not half of America.
But big difference. People know Trump. They largely don’t know Harris. And the fact that she’s had to basically reimagine herself and is talking out of both sides of the mouth too.
I’m getting visions of “I was against the wall before I was for it”
Flip flop Kerry.
I’m sorry not everyone believes she’s suddenly changed into slightly less liberal Harris.
So two things.
Her support is not as widespread as is being advertised.
And
Trumps support is being widely underestimated.
And the more interviews she does the more points she loses in the polls. She may have had a decent debate. But that’s long history now.
But we can’t be complacent this thing is far from over.
I marvel at the idea that she had a decent debate. Did people not look at her face or are people completely unable to read facial expressions anymore? She was smug, condescending, maintained a supercilious smirk the entire time and never really said anything that wasn't a lie.
I believe that if people would go back to early 2021, I believe it was, and read the manifesto from the Cabal of deep state, media, the ultra rich democrat funders et al, and see how they arranged for Trump to lose in 2020, you would see why they aren't all that worried that they have a talking vegetable as a candidate.
Trying to surf the hypertensive left woke base razor while appealing to the center... it is basically just living an inauthentic act... a basic big lie about everything to try make everyone happy. It never works long-term even with the entire mainstream media attempting to cover for you.
It is shame that someone speaking directly and speaking truth (despite the propaganda of the left "fact-checkers" that like to inventory his so called "lies") is so despised. But that is human nature... one of our ubiquitous weaknesses... to reject truth that is critical and inconvenient and instead seek the instant gratification of validation and feeling good... even if it requires a distortion of reality and facts.
Harris is a drug dealer. She uses the dishonest media to deliver feel-good messages (Joy!) to weak and needy constituents. Trump is the candidate that tells everyone they need to stop with the drugs and accept that their addiction is destructive. And like most addicts, they want to destroy Trump for trying to take away the drugs.
If there’s one thing you can say about Trump is he’s authentic. He doesn’t shy away from views to get votes. He simply says what he believes. Whether you like that or not is not his concern. Harris seems to have a different view and its appearance is very fake. But let’s put this in perspective.
Harris believes in every decision Biden made but wants to fix everything he did.
Speaking truth? Surely you're not talking about Donald Trump.
Tell ya what, let's play a game. For every lie that you can cite from Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Joe Biden over the last 4 years, I'll give you 5 that Trump has told in just the last month. Shouldn't be a problem for someone like Trump who is "speaking truth."
It has been said of Donald Trump that he eats one's soul in small bites. In order to justify support for a man whom everybody knows to be an incessant liar, otherwise good people become liars in his defense.
Biden has created more manufacturing jobs, the total number of which actually fell under Trump. The trade deficit that Trump promised to reduce actually increased more during his administration than under Biden. And contrary to Harris' anti-corporate messaging, corporate profits have risen twice as fast under Biden than under Trump; at least partially explaining the inflation that we have experienced. NATO is bigger and stronger now than ever before.
Illegal immigration does not concern me because given (a) our falling birthrate and (b) an unemployment rate of only about 4%, notwithstanding a sizeable increase in the number of immigrants, it would seem that we need the workers. With regard to the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, not everything that happens under a President's administration is within his control. If to the contrary a President is to be held accountable for everything that happens to have occurred on his watch, that would have to include January 6th.
In sum, although by no means perfect, things haven't gone so bad under Biden that I would prefer an incessantly lying, sexually assaulting, convicted felon who is the only President who failed to peacefully transfer power in our nation's proud history, over Harris/Walz.
While you are correct it is a warning sign that Kamala is not winning against a man who has 100% name recognition, about whom everyone has an opinion, and that opinion is majority negative.
It is perhaps a worse indictment that Trump has about even odds of loosing to a vapid duo who are essentially real life people and cartoon caricatures of themselves at the same time.
The big difference IMO is that Harris has 95% of the mainstream media in her favor, so low information voters don't ever get the whole story. That's a really big thumb on the scale.
There are two types of low information voters, ideologues who will vote Democrat because (pick a logically flawed argument), and Independents who simply do not have the time or desire to engage in politics until is time to vote.
The former is lost, the MSM simply reenforces their flawed thinking the reality of their daily life not withstanding.
The later recognizes their daily life has been negatively impacted for the last 3 1/2 years and it was better under Trump. They also want someone who "cares about them".
Trump is doing a great job of actually connecting with these people; better late than never.
There are 5 tones of emotion
Anger
Respect
Formal
Superiority
Boredom
Only the first two are mature adult tones.
The other 3 are childish and manipulative.
Kamala, unless you are a shallow vapid person, comes across like daycare worker talking to 10 year olds. She uses the other three to manipulate.
The choice most people will have to make is simple. Will my future be better with an as**ole or a dumb**s leading the country? I will hold my nose and vote for President Trump. Now, lets see what everyone else does.
I hope you can agree that antisemites are as**oles. One could argue that Germany's Weimar was run by dumb**ses whose incompetence paved the way for Adolph Hitler. Under him, there was none of the hyperinflation, mass unemployment and chaos of the 1920's. I dare say, however, that Germany's future ultimately turned out not to be better under the as**ole.
My point is not to compare Trump to Hitler, the latter of whom I consider both smarter and much more evil. Rather, I offer this to illustrate the proposition that whereas a nation can survive mere dumb**ses, of which we've had several, it hands ultimate power to an as**ole at its peril.

This is where the term "Yellow Dog Democrat" gets to be so famous. Because there are many people out there who don't give one whit that Kamala Harris is dumber than a bag of hammers. They will vote for her because she's a woman, is black(?), or they just hate Trump.
Someone should ask her if she knows about the Potemkin Village? She might reply that it is a gated community near Cleveland, or that it is the name for the proposed sequel to "It Takes a Village."
Your lips to God's ears. I pray no-one get's cocky and implodes the Republicans in their usual fashion.

How in the world does one blow so many softball interviews? Um, well I guess if there's one thing she's good at, it's blowing...

Both campaigns imploded a long time ago. The Republican one when Trump was nominated.

Anyway, care to play?
You want four more years of this past four years?
I want zero more years of Donald Trump.
And I guess zero more years of life left in the nation.
Then, Neil, your answer is YES! you want four more years that we are having now. NO THANK YOU.
Why would I not?
The homicide rate has fallen in each of the last two years - almost 18% overall:

Talk about an “empty suit!” So they dumped Joe for this…

Funny you should say that and mention the nazis. Because Harris’s Joy is our strength is a Nazi propaganda slogan.

Or just because she is a democrat.
Good to find out that maybe her "Potemkin Village" might be falling apart, but a lot can happen in four weeks.
Someone should ask her if she knows about the Potemkin Village? She might reply that it is a gated community near Cleveland, or that it is the name for the proposed sequel to "It Takes a Village."
So what is your point ?
I sure hope you are right. Trump makes me mad sometimes, but he really is the best choice for president.
