This is a good analysis. I don’t think it’s applicable to compare 22 to now. Mid terms have a different dynamic.
A fair comparison is more 2016. And maybe 2020.
But given in both of those contests Hitlery( not a misspelling) and Biden were polling better than Harris is and The wicked witch lost while drools a lot barely won.

I don’t think half of America hates Trump. I think they don’t like him but hate is too strong. Some do in fact hate him but not half of America.
But big difference. People know Trump. They largely don’t know Harris. And the fact that she’s had to basically reimagine herself and is talking out of both sides of the mouth too.
I’m getting visions of “I was against the wall before I was for it”
Flip flop Kerry.
I’m sorry not everyone believes she’s suddenly changed into slightly less liberal Harris.
So two things.
Her support is not as widespread as is being advertised.
And
Trumps support is being widely underestimated.
And the more interviews she does the more points she loses in the polls. She may have had a decent debate. But that’s long history now.
But we can’t be complacent this thing is far from over.
I marvel at the idea that she had a decent debate. Did people not look at her face or are people completely unable to read facial expressions anymore? She was smug, condescending, maintained a supercilious smirk the entire time and never really said anything that wasn't a lie.
