I ask you guys to help a family take care of their Thanksgiving meal every year. It’s that time again. Last year, in 24 hours, y’all contributed just under $200,000.00. Each year, I partner with Hungry For a Day to provide Thanksgiving meals for families in need. This year, the cost of a Thanksgiving meal for four is up over 30% from last year, and last year was up 16% from the year before. It is getting expensive.
Can’t commit as much as last year and due to a change in financial situations I too am struggling to get a daily meal on the table let alone thanksgiving. But I will still contribute what I can.
