Joe Biden admitted to Erin Burnett on CNN last night that his administration is withholding military aid for Israel if the IDF presses forward with an invasion of Rafah.
Impeaching Trump for no good reason may have been a clever strategy to make future impeachments distasteful. If ever impeaching made sense, Biden's actions surely warrant that remedy.
Biden’s policies have affected so many people’s lives in such a tragic way, from encouraging human trafficking, betraying our Afghan allies by leaving so irresponsibly, now betraying the Israelis and making that conflict more bloody and the region more dangerous, signaling weakness and cravenness to our enemies, impoverishing the working class. And on the other hand we have Trump with his bad personality but a record in office of peace and prosperity. It seems pretty clear who the lesser of two evils is at this point.
And I say this as someone who voted libertarian in the last two elections because I couldn’t stand Trump.
While I agree that the action taken is technically unlawful, let’s not sink to the level of the other side. We have more than enough investigational distractions now, each causing us to to take our eye off the ball. Use the issue to negotiate a way to secure the southern border, lessen the growing regulatory burden, or reduce the deficit.
I give credit to Burnett as well. You could see the palpable stun on Sleepy Joe's face that he was even being confronted with information contra to his own understanding of facts. Some might complain that she didn't follow up when he disputed her with his own untruthful assertions, but that wasn't going to go anywhere and we might not have even seen this interview had she done that. She wounded him but just not mortally, which I would never have expected from CNN.
Mr. Biden demonstrates he is, as he has always been, a political hack willing to pander to any group he thinks he can get a vote from. He is a coward, without principles, and willing to betray and sell out an ally if he thinks it will help him get elected. I'm truly sickened by his actions.
Israel was attacked and innocent people subjected to such acts of barbarity as have not been seen throughout history. Hamas has no place in the modern world nor can it coexist with any civilized society. And now Biden is going to tell Israel how to fight a war with an enemy bent on destroying every last Jew?
He is beyond pathetic. Once again, he has continued his unblemished record of making the worst possible foreign policy decisions.
My prediction is it will cost him the vote and financial support of every person of the Jewish faith and then some.
To make matters worse, he had already made the decision to withhold arms to Israel when he made his speech against antisemitism on the anniversary of Holicost Rememberance Day. True to his nature he tried to keep it a secret.
I can see no redeeming qualities in the man. I sincerely want to because he is my President, but I just don't see them. We have never had a President this weak or this indecisive or so lacking in integrity.
It would be appropriate to change his title from Commander in Chief to Panderer in Chief.
Perhaps you don’t remember the proxies out bashing the Supreme Court the courts in Florida and various rallies trying to influence the courts. All Trump did was take it up a notch. Hillary took it up a notch when she lost screaming she got cheated. I’m not defending Trumps actions or his supporters that tore up the Capitol but my choice in this election is clear weather I like it or not
Erick, love Trump or hate Trump, there really is no question that he is overwhelmingly preferable to Biden. Listing his many failures is easy , but the fact he can’t push back against a radical, anti-Semitic, anti-American left puts this country in grave danger. As usual the Democrats and their media acolytes are doing the exact thing they claim Trump will do hoping the blind ideological clapping seals that now make up the majority of democrats don’t notice. Trump needs to win back the WH. If not, things will only get worse.
You wouldn't know the truth if it slapped you in the face. In case you haven't noticed, you haven't convinced anyone that your deranged rants have any vestige of truth.
I keep reading your posts and may or may not tend to agree with some of them. However, you keep saying that Trump is a danger to democracy. If that is true (and it may very well be) you also have to admit that the Steele dossier and the investigations it led to that were intended to take down a presidency are also a danger to democracy as they attempted to destroy a legitimate presidency. Trump is no more a danger to democracy than the Democrats and many Republicans who would much rather see one of their own (the Swamp, as it were).
I am 54 years old and have voted Libertarian until the 2020 election (several of those recent L candidates I had to hold my breath). I’ll be voting for Trump again this election primarily because his policies (other than Covid) were generally good. I’m looking for more of the same, if not better in the next term should he be elected.
I suggest that instead of impeaching Biden, we should let the wounded rabbit lie in the field. The coyotes will take care of him.
What ? Rules do not apply the same to Democrats especially Biden

Re: "This seems to be a turning point politically"
Don't hold your breath. November is a long way off yet.

Impeachment is exactly what the Dems want. It’s an out for them with Biden. We need to tread carefully.
Finally
Hmm…I would like to point out to Sec. Austin that a pause is a decision. How could he say they had made no decisions?

He has absolutely never had the best interest of this country in mind and he proves it every single day.
Gonna bet that this will be quietly reversed - watch after 5 PM on Friday for a low key announcement.
Then they can say they tried but were forced to buckle under, pacifying the nut cases.
Unfortunately, with Biden it's (D)ifferent.
Boy oh Boy it’s hard to beat facts

Blair go away. Your TDS is showing.
Another thing we like about you. How you are so open about sharing your total lack of class.
