(And, the Trump advisors should work harder to get DJT to reduce his exaggerated hyperbolic statements which the media can so easily use to fire back at him. Maybe they can get more irrefutable 'visual aids' for him to use?)
In other news while we may have reported some scorpions were stinging frogs we would like to print a retraction of that on our front page. We realize most of our retractions correcting actual errors are buried on section C page 27 where no one notices but this one we need to put on the front page because it is so egregious and important everyone needs to see it. No frogs were ever stung by scorpions. The snakes did it all despite not having stingers. Pass the popcorn.
I'm sensing a bigger reaction to Kamala replacing Biden than I had previously anticipated. Several people that had already told me they are sitting this one out are now committed to voting for Kamala. Of course all of my other conservative friends are still voting Trump, but with dems / some independents showing excitement it may be a real race. It's obviously just anecdotal, but there is hope that I will not have to endure another Trump presidency.
For all of our complaining, I have a bad feeling about this.
I think the Left does not care about any of Kamala's issues, they care that she is the Not Trump and they will do everything to make sure she's the next DEI president. I know people who are otherwise rational who are more than happy to vote for Kamala, even though they DON'T like her, because she is better than Orange Hitler. I don't always agree with Peaceful Dad on much concerning Trump, since I'm not a huge Trump fan either. But he's right. If the Republicans want to keep Harris out, they are going to have to fight, and fight hard for it.
The democrats are excited and watch CNN and MSNBC breathlessly. Our efforts won't effect them. Our efforts have to be to get out every possible legal voter for conservatives, especially in the swing states, and create smart messaging to sway independents. People with functioning brains know the last 3.5 years have been a disaster. Must message that Harris will make the last 3.5 years seem like "the good old days".
It would be nice if the Republicans could show all those publications and declarations of the leftist media that stated Kamala was appointed Border Czar, then show the comment she made about going to Paris and how she also finally showed up where no one was crossing, while thousands were crossing in another area daily.
They could cap it off by showing all the damage that is being done by illegal immigration, including the names or faces of all those that have been victimized.
I have a question if someone can help me understand - how can it work legally for the person who has been the elected by the people as the nominee then to step down after seeing he will not win against his opponent. How right is that? It just seems another way of tricking the people. Can someone help me understand if it is ok to do that? There are still 20 states - including the battleground states of MN MI and WI - which have not yet held their state primaries.
