I have to say, I didn't catch that the quote was really about Warren. Instead I kept muttering,"...or maybe it's because he tried to buy the Democratic nomination and we didn't like it?" But I'm slow that way. Another example would be the many, many comments elsewhere about how people wanted a female Democratic nominee, any female, except apparently Warren. And Harris. And Klobuchar. And Gabbard. And I'm forgetting a few.
Sarah Palin was an electrifying speaker, if I remember right. But weren't a lot of the nasty comments directed at her because people felt she wasn't qualified, and as the VP of an older President her experience would become even more important? But, ah, the shining, innocent days when "an older president" would have been just 72.
