Good day to y’all. In lieu of writing a piece this morning, I figured I’d handle the show notes since someone is still on vacation and chime in on several topics. Last year at this time I was in Greece and Turkey. Greece has been bankrupt I think 13 times and they seem to be fine to me. My friend Ellie just came back from Ireland. Their cofers are full their economy is great and their people are happy. What is wrong with us?
Thaks, Erick. It's sad about our Republicans. Now they have no one and no one will support anyone.. What can WE do to change this? I will be contacting the entire state of Ga's reps for the House and telling them of my dissatisfaction. Who knows whether any of my actions will make a different. Also, it is NOT islamophobia (I was reading that Arab-Americans are disappointed in Biden) to see that what HAMAS did is wrong and that the residents voted for this many years ago. Why did the Arab-Americans come to the US, anyway. It's not that country they came from. Hamas' action speak louder than any words ever could. I guess I'm a hawk. Hama didn't and doesn't care what we think or others think. It makes it hard to be too sympathetic about women and children. For those who say I have no empathy, but, hey! neither did Hamas. Empathy hasn't worked out so well lately, has it? Hamas still has close to 200 hostages.
Well, I would say the republicans have already blown up any chance they had at keeping the House and probably any chance of winning the white house. They look like buffoons. Our court systems have so many corrupt prosecutors, judges etc that any republican charged will be afraid not to take a plea deal for fear of worse happening. This is disgusting. Yes, some of the candidates need to drop out now. Pence, though a very nice man, had no chance of being the nominee. Nor do some of the others. I hope Christy doesn't have a chance! Not a Haley fan either. It seems, for all intents and purposes, that we are at war, just not "officially". Are we all aware that we are experiencing a cultural revolution yet?
Once again in the house the Rinos win. And we get a weak Boehner clone.
These infectious moderates who think dems are just misunderstood, are the problem. What good is it to have a republican when they don’t vote for conservative values. Rather just stick to your principles win or lose. This is not working as is.
My biggest frustration with the cases against trump and these people pleading guilty is that any number of democrats could be accused and convicted of the same. So why aren’t they?
Because we have a disproportionate amount of liberal DA’s who hate trump.
And thank you for pointing out the need to consolidate the GOP field.
I know people like pence and others who won’t drop out regardless. They are handing the nomination to trump.
We can’t beat Biden with a candidate that has about 40% of the electorate behind him. We need independents and conservative independents who voted Biden in 2020 to come back and vote for the GOP.
Long-term bonds and fixed-interest mortgage rates ... "illustrate just how far we've come from just three years ago". Remarkable accomplishments there, Mister Biden. Think you can outdo yourself if given a second term?
Well, considering the level of engagement and understanding of a large share of our electorate ... and the "will vote for free stuff" mindset of another large portion ... and the fact that wartime Presidents usually enjoy a boost in support (Biden is doing his level best to start a war during his term) ... Biden Redux is a strong possibility.
Haley has a point about Iran. Stop the flow of money immediately and the "war" will probably be short lived. Frankly, if I were a war monger I would simply bomb the hell out of Iran and erase a huge problem for the rest of the earth. But then we would have to listen forever to Obama, CNN and CNBC crying over such things as the elimination of the poor ayatollahs!
