The State of the Union was more raucous last night than most. The base of each party loved it. The commentators on CNN spent a good bit of time on Biden giving as good as he got from Marjorie Taylor Green. We get the government we deserve. It was refreshing to see bipartisan support for some police reform — what that will entail is a big question.

Biden is the most dangerous President of my lifetime. He is the Mr. Magoo of American Presidents. The Republicans give me heartburn but there is nowhere else to go. They are so willing to snatch defeat from the mouth of victory. I fear that I have become the Grinch Who Stole Christmas. If you read the Old Testament any one can see that God is running the show He brings nations up and he takes them down.
Congratulations on the good scan news! I can't imagine that Sword of Damocles scenario you're going through. I thank God y'all know Jesus! I have an idea for the next three years. Try to pick ONE DAY per month where you REFUSE to talk politics AT ALL unless there's breaking political news. I'm not sure you can do it, but it would be fun to hear you try. Bourbon, fly fishing, Louisiana cooking, music, anything but politics. I know you do your Christmas show, buy that's only once per year.
I can not relate to WSB's evening programing. Would love to have you to listen to on my drive home.. I normally just turn the radio off after 4 pm........ Joey
