This is exactly it. Musk started the woke employee purge. I believe for most large companies the same is underway. Of course the company management is not broadcasting it. And the mainstream media is not reporting it because it is alarmist against their work agenda... frankly a crisis against their agenda.
The same has to be done in the media. The media employees that have been captured by this toxic ideology need to be fired and replaced by those that don't. This is doable, but will be difficult because the colleges are still cranking out woke cranks with journalism degrees. That is another topic for remedy. Now for a lot of business the downturn that followed the hiring from the previous economic expansion under Trump and then the explosive hiring from the Biden Covid dollar dump is easy cover. They have too many employees. Media does not have that extent of cover; although the economic downturn is impacting their business too.
The other difference with media and big tech is that the billionaires own controlling interest through their Wall Street holdings with Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street (and others). These billionaires are pushing the woke doctrine and agenda not because they care about the social justice aspect, but because they want to see the US small business economy destroyed so they can continue their consolidation of the economic system to connect with the WEF globalist corporatist cabal. For them it is all about power and control. If they see the tide shifting to a Republican dominated government, they will pivot to try and save face... calming down the party to prevent regulatory and policy extremes that would set back their agenda. They will clean up their media holdings and slow down their ESG and DEI programs.
That is why 2024 is so important to elect Republicans. If Trump is the general candidate and the Republican never-Trumpers throw another tantrum to elect Democrats, then everything wrong can be laid directly on their lap.

I constantly hear and read from right/conservative pundits that the MSM is "destroying itself", "causing their own demise", "dying" etc. I have been reading/hearing this for the last 30 years. It NEVER happens. When will it happen? I am ready for it to happen!! Why is it not happening? IT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!! The media is too entrenched. It is just like the hope that there will someday be accountability for high-level corrupt officials on the left and right. This is like a unicorn fart sprinkled with fairy dust. It is a figment of our imagination. Also, concerning this mentally ill woman that killed the children, you will notice she just happened to be wearing a red ball cap. This was not just a coincidence. She wanted to stir up the left as much as possible.
I was listening to “The News and Why It Matters” on the Blaze (Glen Beck) this morning and some points about the shooter might be important. Many of the “transgendered” are Autistic.
Many of the latest shooters were “transgendered”. This shooter was a high functioning Autistic.

As a center right conservative, I just want the media, almost always to the left of center, to tell the truth, with no shade. I don't appose their leftward-leanings, I just want them to use critical thinking, as they'd have to do if they were building a bridge, if they wanted it to hold weight, or an aircraft, if they wanted it to safely fly.
