Agree with the indignation, but no, he shouldn't resign. We'd get Kamala.

Pelosi will at last be president. Bless her black little heart. Biden goes then Kamala (maybe with China Joe) and then the throne is hers. Pelosi has worked so hard for it.

But then we get Kamala. That would be worse.

Oh he will. I said he would so the Democrats can claim the first woman President, of course not elected.

The question is when, I'll take next year's midterm in the over/under.

Joe Biden owns all of it; Afghanistan, the border, the Delta variant hysteria, the politicization and corruption of the American military in pursuit of a higher ESG score, the various crimes against the Constitution, every bloodstained bit of it.

Forget resignation, Erick; in a proper world, the Republicans, after regaining control of both Houses of Congress next year, would give the RINO establishment types in leadership the boot, then move on to the impeachments of Joey, Kammy, and anyone else involved as needed. All of them, immediately. Then, maybe consider if the Democrat Party has become a “continuing criminal enterprise” pursuant to the RICO Act. Purge everyone, level their buildings, and sprinkle salt on the ground so nothing else can ever grow there again.

Alas, all this is not possible, but I would happily settle for the impeachments.

Erik Prince in his interview said he had the plan delivered to President Trump and Joe Biden

We have Globalist Generals

No guts and glory

The Biden administration fumbled the ball and lost the game.

Strategy

This so called leadership is a disaster.

Border, Inflation, Afghanistan

Oil production

List is growing

Bidens political capital is bleeding out

Our United States cannot police the whole world. Joe had the good sense to realize that and get us out. Those soldiers and their equipment will be used to defend our homeland and our shores.

And what about the 1.4 MILLION pounds (700 tons) of small arms, ammunition, and other materiel we left at Bagram AB when we precipitously fled that base? Who will be using that? And if you didn’t notice, Trump was planning a condition based, gradual withdrawal as opposed to the panicky, disorganized cluster &$”! we saw under Joey and the Bidenauts, and the unmitigated disaster which has followed.

President Kamala Harris. I can't wait.

"Joe Biden should resign." If only he would.

But Obama (or Susan Rice or a host of other unsavory characters) being the hand inside puppet Biden, he will never resign. Such a dandy little racket they've got going., Fulfills Obama/Alinsky's/ every Marxist's wildest dreams.

Nirvana has arrived in the bowels of the Democrat party.

Now we who can't afford private security or a standing army will have to see about protecting ourselves.

The flaw in your puppet theory is that VP Biden wanted out of Afghanistan when Obama was in office.

And back then when he was a halfway sentient being, he might have sat down with military strategists and discussed how to do it without a 1975-style tragedy for all those left behind. Today, like an empty cicada shell, all that remains is that useful puppet.

And I would again argue that no one could have seen a collapse like this coming. Vietnam was nowhere close to being this sudden.

You can argue incompetence, but not puppet. Put down the conspiracy theories and try thinking for yourself.

Sure, Neil.

"Physician, heal thyself."

If you believe Biden is running the White House and not Obama's coterie, then you are beyond the reach of logic.

Farewell.

Further discussion is a useless endeavor.

I simply find it hard to believe that someone aspires to the office for three or four decades only to let someone else exercise power once one gets it.

Joe basically said he would be ready to do that for Barack. There be is video of him saying so.

The brain that wanted that office and could articulate his policies and think for himself, while not sharp enough to defeat a high school debate team, is not the brain operating in the physical body today. His desires 3-4 decades ago still rattle around within. But his cognitive abilities--those vital to serving in any political office, let along the Presidency-- are gone with the wind.

And the Administration's response is, "Orange man's fault!". Uh, who has been President since January 20, 2021? As a federal employee, the last time that I looked, it certainly wasn't Donald Trump.

How many Taliban have come over our southern border in recent months? The coming anniversary of 9/11 could be an interesting one

My guess would be zero, based on the number of Taliban attacks inside the US.

Oh, and hats off to our troops; just a few thousand of which were able to do what the entire Afghan army could not.

The fact that the Afghans collapsed so quickly shows that the only alternative would have been to stay another 20 years, and then another and another . . . . Having had 20 years to prepare for our departure, I don't think anyone could have foreseen such an immediate and total collapse.

There is a saying to the effect that all politics is local. Even 9-11 had its roots in the nature of our involvement in their part of the world. Leaving makes us more, not less safe.

Finally, it is way too easy to take a tough stance from the comfort of one's easy chair. The people I would be most interested in hearing from on this issue are the active duty troopers who would have had to fight there, had we stayed.

I suspect a mixed bag, just as with Vietnam, since that's what this withdrawal is being compared to.

While I agree that Biden has completely botched Afghanistan, I gotta disagree with your statement that he should resign. As bad a president that he is, I fear a President Harris would be even worse. We are in dire straits as a nation.
