Joe Biden was barely 18 months old when the "Boys of Pointe du Hoc" stormed the cliffs.

That loud rumbling sound you hear coming from Europe is coming from cemeteries where those who lost their lives in the liberation of Europe are spinning in their graves at what Biden and the Left are doing to the country they gave their lives to defend.

I'm very disappointed you seem to be turning into Kevin McCarthy on the January 6th hearings. I believed in the collection of issues and policies now called "Trumpism" long before Trump did, but we should not flinch from the truth that the man is a delusional narcissist, a sociopath and a person that considers the democratic system and small r republican values and ideals as something for chumps and losers. Please, please don't put your desire to placate your audience above what you know in your heart to be true.

I have never known Eric to placate or pander to his audience.

I agree with most of what you say about Trump. I voted him twice and I am convinced every day it was the right vote. However, I don't want him back, GTFA.

Trump never should have ranted about the election being stolen, January 6th never should have happened, and it was never an insurrection. It was a disgusting display.

Here's the problem...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has gone on record praising the storming of the Capitol as an "impressive show of democracy in action" -- the 2011 invasion of the Madison, Wis., state capitol

The Summer of violence 2020 perpetrated by Democrat voters, burning and looting cities was treated as if it were the Boston Tea Party.

The people putting on this January 6th show are not presenting evidence of an insurrection. The media continuing to call it an insurrection doesn't make it one either. All the prosecutions are trespassing and assault. This is a cinematic, campaign ad for the Democrats.

We know what happened, at least the big strokes, we also have some of the finer detail. What is left is nothing more than confirmation we know what happened. Seeing more gory detail of fists and elbows be thrown, close caption of what people were saying, historical artifacts being destroyed changes nothing and has no value other than to try and convince you January 6th was much worse than we know; except it it's not.

It wasn't the Kennedy assassination, it wasn't Watergate, it wasn't White Water, it didn't happen in secret only to be exposed. We watched it live. Oh, and Congress met a few hours later to confirm the Electoral College votes. 2020 was in fact a peaceful transition of power.

You want to despise Donald Trump, go ahead, he has given you reason. I certainly will not defend him. But how you feel about Trump should not factor in to weather you want to see the report. And just because he is a class a jerk doesn't make January 6th an insurrection.

You allude to __ Crime and Punishment__ We must all remember Raskolnikov's dream--

"Everyone was excited and did not understand one another. Each thought that he alone had the truth and was wretched looking at the others, beat himself on the breast, wept, and wrung his hands. They did not know how to judge and could not agree what to consider evil and what good; they did not know who to blame, who to justify."

As a brand new subscriber, (but very longtime listener), I enjoyed my first in-depth show notes. Good job, Erick. Think I'm gonna like it here!
