The White House also didn't want to occupy Afghanistan. The Taliban promised not to do what terrorists do and, shocker spooler alert, they are terrorist doing what terrorists do.

MS governor stays Rep. Abortion wins in OH. KY governor stays Democrat. Both houses of the VA legislature are now Dem.

The Redumblicans have so much going for them at the moment: Inflation, Drugs, Crime, Illegal Immigration, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Education, Israel/antisemitism/pro-Hamas protests and they STILL can't manage to advance their agenda by actually winning elections they should be able to win.

If they can't pull an electoral hat trick in 2024 and win the White House and Senate, and expand their razor-edge thin margin in the House, they are doomed as a political party- and we are doomed as a nation.

It's looking like it says on the sign outside Hell in Dante's Inferno: "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."

We're not there yet, but the sign is starting to get easier to read.

Major Disconnect! The Biden administration and some in Israel believe there is a rational diplomatic solution to the holy war being waged against Israel and the non-Islamic world. Even if PM Netanyahu could "disappear" all Hamas fighters in Gaza, there is unlikely to be peace between orthodox Sunni Muslims and Jews+Christians this side of the rapture. Failure to openly recognize that fact in political discourse is ignoring the obvious.

ERICK: Please have a look at these analytical articles by Daniel Greenfield:

Taqqiya deployed in a most deadly fashion against Israel. When will the civilized world finally realize what Islam is, and how has operated since its inception about year 622AD ....

So rich of Senator Blumenthal to be concerned about lies when he has a very rich history of lies about (supposedly) serving in Vietnam and then getting caught lying about it. Read his quote below and substitute Bob Menendez for Trump and I bet he would change his tune quickly.

“I was concerned before these numbers. I am concerned by the inexplicable credibility that Donald Trump seems to have despite all of the indictments, the lies, the incredible wrongdoing.”

I thought Israel decided to occupy

Gaza after Israel was attacked in 1973.

Can you see it? Can you feel it? The talking head Dems know it but can’t do anything about it. It’s the sound of America waking up and saying enough is enough.

The COLLECTIVE does not own or raise my children.

The COLLECTIVE does not know how to spend my tax money without stealing a chunk.

The COLLECTIVE can’t indoctrinate my children.

The COLLECTIVE can’t take away my guns.

The COLLECTIVE can’t de-fund my police protection.

The COLLECTIVE can’t force me to salute the UN flag.

The COLLECTIVE can’t open the borders and lie lie lie as if we are all stupid.

The COLLECTIVE can’t convince me to hate all Jews.

It’s time for all Americans to stand up and say HELL NO.

Back at the Gathering I had a chance to meet Governor Youngkin. He was laser focused on his message. Keep the House and flip the Senate. Youngkin, unlike many other Pols, has a clock ticking on his programs. He is constitutionally limited to 1 term.

The day he took office he had a countdown clock placed on the wall behind his desk. So, whenever he enters his office, he is reminded of just how few days he has left to make lasting changes. He is about halfway thru his governance. Today he is positioned to flip his Senate and open the floodgates on the last 2 years of his governorship. He is about to do great things, in the shadow of the DC swamp.

Watch the results of his election tonight. This will be the ultimate election poll. You are seeing a 2028 Presidential Candidate burnishing his creds.

When he wins, and the buzz builds, I expect the Dems to go all out to dump Brandon.

Sometimes Chicken Little is right, and the sky is really falling 😊

Please stop making me have to defend Candace Owens, Erick. I'm not a fan of hers, but you're forcing me into another Candace Owens apologist post. Instead of watching just the clip you posted, I watched the entire episode. Candace ends up admitting that maybe she misunderstood what she had been told when she was in Israel. Owens's "debate" with Jewish comedian Ami Kozak was actually worth watching. It was a respectful, thoughtful discussion that ended with a bit of humor. My takeaways: (1) Candace Owens is probably not anti-Semitic. (2) Candace Owens believes in free speech. (3) Candace Owens tweets controversial statements to get ratings.

Just two comments:

The State Department, Trump had the chance to remove the deep state actors from this department. He could have put in a secretary that would have cleaned house of this department. I needs it. There are people there that feel that they run US international policy, not the White House.

Biden's refusal to are Israeli citizens. Israel has learned that they can no long trust the US. All it takes is a change in the White House and a good or bad course correction can occur. Worse, the State Department is full of the Obama, pro Iran, anti Israel staff. Obama and crew had major distain for Israel and the Jewish people. They cared more for Iran and it's rulers. When the Iranian people started an uprising Obama did not even give lip service to support. He quietly waited for the end results, the crushing of the uprising, the jailing and execution of the leaders.

All one has to do to know you speak the truth about Obama and his disdain for Israel is to watch his comments which ended with saying "we are all complicit", after claiming that Israel is an Occupier.

Can you imagine the US taking orders from Israel if the circumstances were reversed. Maybe Israel can get some of the guns that Obama's ATF lost in Fast and Furious . Why is it that we are so free with our cash to countries that are our enemy and we can't help our allies to fend off the very enemies that we gave the cash to? Does anyone else see a problem here?

I would also like to know if Obama realizes how insignificant his opinion is? If I had as much blood on my hands as he does I would keep my mouth shut.

Obama's recent statement on the Israel-Hamas conflict reminded me of Kamala Harris. It was like, how can I say absolutely nothing of significance but also sound pretentious?

Trump's wealth has increased by $500 million since he left the White House, and he's using campaign donations to pay his legal bills? Meanwhile Giuliani and Trump's other co-defendants are broke. Seems about right.

Maybe the Israeli civilians can get their hands on some of the guns Biden left in Afghanistan. I'm so grateful to live in a country with the Second Amendment and in a state where I can (and do) legally carry.

We can all, as it were, thank Hamas for a real-world test of gun control and restricted civilian ownership. In the Mid East, water is valuable. The Jewish settlers set up farms where they used every drop correctly. Are they in use now? Probably not.

One of the things that struck me most when I traveled around Israel was how green it was. What a beautiful country in the middle of the desert!

Mark Twain took a trip to the Holy Land in 1870 and described it as a hot, dry wasteland. Other writers since then said the same. Since 1948 it has become greener and better for growing crops. So good that vegetables are exported. Can you guess why?

Expand full comment

I can! :) The Israelis are intentional about fostering vegetation on their land. One guide told us that there is a required percentage of "green" on each property.
