While I don't put much stock in psychology, it would be interesting to take a random sample of the pro-hamas protesters and 1) enumerate the personality disorders found in each and 2) identify the disorders common to all.

To Megyn Kelly's point: are they angry because they're so objectively unattractive, or are they unattractive because they're angry? Not that it matters. They are to be ignored though. Remember, this is the generation which made eating tide-pods a trend. They have nothing to say, and they prove it every time any one of them opens their pie hole.

Well, all the art students/majors I know are bad at math and managing money but it is Art Institute's fault for providing schooling that the students wanted. If it is so onerous, why doesn't the Fed allow bankruptcy to wipe those numbers off their books? Oh, some well connected political donors would probably lose money on the lack of pay back.

Erick, I heard you on the radio talking about MTG. Do you know anyone you could press to talk some strategic sense into her, as well as congresswoman Boebert? Their lack of any sense of a plan to get to an end goal is stupifying. It's impossible for me to understand how they can think getting rid of Speaker Johnson is a great idea. President Trump says it's a bad idea...how can they go on with this foolishness?

Expand full comment

Can MTG be expelled from Congress, she’s just a rabble rouser and adds nothing productive to the conversation.

Expand full comment

Then we lose the majority. I'm for talking some sense into her...privately.

Expand full comment

Well her antics might cost us the majority since most Americans look at the Republicans and our inability to keep a house speaker and it doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence.

Won't argue with that.

I was not going to post this until I saw the news reports that Biden was planning to bring Palestinians here to the United States and give them a path to citizenship along with homes and financial assistance. I apologize in advance if I offend anyone's sense of propriety or sensibilities.

I found myself at Emory University today when two police officers I know approached me and said, "Doc, can I ask you a question?"

Their expressions were quite serious.

"Of course," I replied.

"Why can't Joe Biden be circumcised?" The taller of the two asked.

I lifted my shoulders and said, "I have no idea."

"Because there's just no end to that pr**k."

With respect to the President, NOBODY can be that clueless or that wrong so consistently.

Let’s add up all of the damage to Hamilton Hall and divide to equally to all the people that they removed from there last night and give them the bill plus all of the salaries and equipment of the personnel that they had to use. I would also give them 60 days in jail and you are barred from ever stepping foot on Columbia campus. Too bad if you were 3 days away from graduation. I wish I could be a judge there for a week. New York judges don’t care if they follow the law so it would be at my discretion on how they would be penalized.

"Megyn Kelly asks the question we are all wondering: “Why are they so unattractive? Why are the protestors so homely?”

Despite the humor of this comment, I think there is something real there. I believe we are seeing a sort of mass psychosis of perceived missing social status achievement that is exacerbated by the over-education of people combined with the lack of actual productive accomplishment - for example not making, building growing things with hands - and then all of this amplified through social media showing the popularity of beautiful and talented people.

It seems these kids are dealing with a big gap in life-meaning and are seeking belonging in movements that give them that feedback... even when the movement is dark, evil, immoral, etc.

This is why God in life is so important. There is no moral steering mechanism otherwise. Too bad that God is misused to force women to carry unwanted children after being raped... otherwise more of these kids might be encouraged to find God.

I agree with your comments until you hit the line about abortion. First, these unborn children conceived by an terrible act are innocent and do not deserve to die. Secondly, a woman having been subject to the trauma of rape is further traumatized by the deliberate act of killing a child. Women rarely walk away clean and free after such actions.

Frank, I was reading in the Daily Wire about Christians standing with Jews against this current campus insanity. I believe we have to push strongly the idea that our nation does not work without the conviction that there is a God that has set a moral compass in each of us. I am a Christian, but I can stand easily with people of other faiths that believe there are moral absolutes, and there is a God that rewards those who seek Him. God has allowed this nation to be a lifeboat to the world for a long time. Our Judeo-Christian traditions are what make us 'exceptional' and why so many want to come here. We're not better than anyone, but the biblical underpinnings that set up our government have allowed us to be exceptional. I believe that God is very real, but even some prominent atheists believe they'd rather have a society ordered by those with faith. I believe Richard Dawkins recently said something to that effect. Those on the left largely look to man for solutions, pinning their hopes on 'science'. I am certain our only hope for our nation is to cry out to God for His mercy and His forbearance as we have largely gone far astray. Not advocating for a theocracy, but if people in power believe there is no God, then our rights are just words on a dusty piece of paper, written by a bunch of dead white guys.

"protestors sent out this messenger demanding the school provide them food."

"Required to provide food for students on a meal plan"?

Maybe so, but only in the dining hall(s). Let 'em go there.

There are probably vending machines in the

building. They'll probably loot from those. There are water fountains so they don't "die of dehydration."

I'm hoping these people are ignorant, because you can't fix stupid. Case in point? MTG.

Biden wants to bring "certain Palestinians" to America! What would the selection criteria be? Right! Those that can enunciate clearly in English the phrase "Death to America".

MTG is the worse right now. She is either certifiable, or just really that stupid. I am not sure which. Well if everyone is telling her to stop hopefully that means that any vote to oust will be killed immediately anyway.
