Erick,

What do you know about this? https://progress2028.com

I asked my Mexican friends what they thought of the “like to make babies” joke and they said it was hilarious. I have one Puerto Rico friend that said the “trash” joke was not really funny, but kinda’ true.

But all these people said they thought Republicans are stupid for falling for the hypersensitivity trap that Democrats set for them. Just ignore it. It is comedy and sometimes comedy pokes fun of reality.

Yesterday I saw on YouTube about voting and a reminder that you friends and family can see who you voted for which could be intimidating for some.

I think it says that people can see if you voted, not who you voted for, if it's the one I'm thinking of from Future Forward. Still, that is very Orwellian and really creeps me out.

How on earth can anyone see who you vote for?

Here's the thing - comedians often write and say offensive things because it is funny. The left leaning news will often pickup and magnify little offensive things from the right. This is just repeating history, its fine.

WOW. Thank you for the info on how campaigns can know if you have voted or not.

Yesterday I started to see TV adverts where they are trying to shame voters to “get off the couch and go vote” so your neighbors know you have done your civic duty.

Thanks again and keep on doing what you do.

Cheers

One thing is for certain the value of our dollar is going down thanks to you Biden/ Harris team who don’t trust God’s word in Creating the Universe and passed their 6

Trillion Dollar money grab.

The closer we get to the election, the more unhinged the left becomes. How do people believe their crazy claims?

Biden voted today. He wrote himself in😆

Funny thing is, the Dems could get away with a similar grossout comedian with Dem-approved bigotry.

No, it's not fair. Yes, it's the world we live in. Can't choose your reality. The only fair you get in this world comes with cotton candy, Tilt-A-Whirls, and no free rides.

Whoever approved this comedian needs to be shown the door.

The GOP can--and needs to--do better. Even (especially!) if the Dems don't.

4 weeks ago I said vehemently the world ends if Kamala wins. Not so much anymore. If the Republicans at the very least retake the senate as it seems they will, it really doesn't matter if Kamala wins other than her being in charge of the military. Concerning but not world ending.

She would be the first new president to not have both houses. Which means she wont be able to do much of anything. No price controls, no stacking courts, no national voting laws. Sure she can do a lot by EO but ask how much did Obama get done from 2014 - 2016 when he lost both houses? Answer not much.

That being said, the opening act of the rally will be forgotten within 24 hours. The media may hype it up but people know Trump by now and all his flaws and honestly don't really care. The ones hyperventilating over that performance weren't voting for Trump anyway. I maintain Kamala's support is not that great. Nobody is excited to vote for her except maybe the few loyal demographics she had before she took over the campaign.

The voting base isn't going to magically shift back to Harris because one stupid comedian decided to go on a racial rant. Although I maintain he was a plant. The jokes were just too obvious to be a for real effort at comedy. Seemed forced and intentional. The guys record doesn't speak to a trump supporter by the way. So I am suspicious if this is anything but a setup.

I don't think the republicans getting the senate is going to stop them. The House being in republican hands hasn't stopped the Biden administration from canceling debt or anything else they want to do. They aren't even bothering to pretend that they require the consent of congress to further the leftist agenda anymore. Nope, your first assessment is the correct one.

It’s been largely gridlock.

Besides. The senate controls the judiciary. So if the republicans have that they won’t be able to pass through their terrible judges. And the senate committee has its own investigative powers that can do allot more.

But I thought if Kamala won there would be no future elections ever in the US.

The day she took office: Taiwan would fall to China, Israel would become part of Gaza, Putin would take the Baltic States beginning a tear through Europe, sex change operations would be mandatory for teens under the age of 18, kids under 5 would be aborted, standing to urinate would be outlawed, and lastly I'd be able to report your comments on this substack thread to a central authority that would trace your IP address to send you to a "re-education" camp.

And now you say if she wins it's no big dealio - WTF Chaz - you're taking all the fun out of this

As I said. That won’t happen if she can’t get both houses. Without it none of that happens maybe Taiwan still falls. But no way she can get her agenda across with a split congress.

No, I think it was just a stupid hire - not a plant. I read a review of his other jokes, and they were spread around to offend about everyone. Just think the comedian is tone-death, and not real savvy. Doubt he will be booked on "Gutfeld!" any time soon. The audience not laughing is the real take-away here.

One thing about Erick and his commentary: He’s always for and against at the same time.

Says he wants Trump to win but never, ever fails to point out reasons why he can’t win (Erick will always win).

So tired of the daily up and down reviews. Either Black men are voting and will make a difference or they’re not and won’t). One day he has them making a viable difference; the next, not so much.

Regarding the show notes who is advising Trump’s team about his pre-show performers? They don’t have time for jokes that don’t work right now. Every Vote COUNTS!

Expand full comment

Here's the thing. As bad as that opening act was. How many black men and women actually saw it? Doubtful very few. Its a pretty common thread among the Black male community at this point. They are either voting for Trump or not voting at all, others are just leaving the presidential race box blank.

I noticed in the clip that the crowd didn't laugh. Stupid idea to have him as it gives the dems something to cling to as they really have no message. Only a partisan will claim his comments are what Trump and Republicans actually believe. But, whomever hired that guy should be shown the door.

All of these Republicans that are pretending to be outraged were probably laughing under their breath. Everyone on both sides who took offense need to get a dictionary, look up "Comedian", and read it at least 3 times. I get it, Trump has blurred the line between entertainment and politics, but get the F over it you whiners.
