Now we know from where Jeffrey Epstein got his inspiration.

Hefner's great sin was that he not only broke God's law, but encouraged others so to do. The military was particularly susceptible to Hefner's hedonistic philosophy -- away from home, embroiled in violence, not knowing how long one would live, etc. For a contrast, read the chapter in John Keagan's THE FACE OF BATTLE - about a soldier in WWI who took communion on the day before he went "over the top" and died.

So, now you’re a “believe the women” guy? Guess you could say the same about Trump, then. Huh?

Hmm. From whence do you come, sir? Mr. Hefner made his name being the face of sexual predation, objectifier of women (whether consensual or, as we now know, not necessarily...), publisher of note for the baser instinct of men. It was only a matter of time before leaks of the obvious outcome of such behavior would sneak past those "lionizing" him in the press.

Not sure your point, assuming this relates to #MeToo championing anyone seeking to tear down persons of power without due process, but maybe it is something else?

Not a Trump fan, do not see Trump making his money on the objectification of women, perhaps you do? Seems a false equivalence may be in play here?

I think of replying to myself due to amazement that Erickson wanted to talk about the son of Rev Jerry Falwell having not been, by popular report, an entirely goodliving gentleman!!! I would say that if you want to make Hefner the text for the sermon (please do your homework and find a biblical verse in future) this was not the place to talk of him, although still topical. Let the mockers talk all they like about erring children of preachers!!!
