It's enough to make you sorry Sirhan Sirhan didn't get the job done sooner.

And, as long as we're digging people up, let's get Lee Harvey Oswald out and give him a community service medal.

What a curse that infernal family is - every one of 'em

While I think JFK Jr. is a kook and believes some crazy outlandish things, I do believe his position about Lymes Disease has some degree of merit. I’m aware most scientists agree the bacteria associated with Lymes has been around a long time but not necessarily in America. Based on the opinion of a long time tick researcher in the SE, it’s not a stretch to think the federally funded Plum Island Animal Disease Center just south of Lymes Connecticut where the illness was first discovered is connected. According to the researcher, a veteran scientist that spent time at Plum Island confirmed the DOD did in fact study the feasibility of using ticks and other insects to carry biohazards. Apparently someone screwed up and the bacteria made its way across the bay to the area near Lymes. I’d probably roll my eyes at such a story if it hadn’t come from a legitimate tick guy.

Let us hope that he has his road to Damascus moment.

Today he said he has been on his knees every morning for 20 years asking for an opportunity like he is hoping to get now (my summation of what he expressed).

From what I have been reading, the guy has never really prayed. Saul of Tarsus must have said many prayers as a zealous Pharisee, but it wasn't until he was saved by grace that God told Ananías "...he prays..." (Acts 9:11). Unless God has mercy on this man Kennedy he will never pray truly. May the Lord spare us from such a wicked department head, and rebuke those who will not oppose him.

I am baffled by why the Democrats are so vehemently opposed to such a staunch abortion advocate. If abortion is the most important issue ever, shouldn’t they want RFK in Trump’s cabinet and maybe doing all the things Erick mentions? Abortion rights was Democrats number one issue in 2024 but they don’t want a pro abortion HHS Secretary?? Is it TDS???

Which makes me wonder.

I have no doubt he did all the things Erick says which begs the question why Dems would be worried about him.

I think it’s all for not.

Tom price was HHS for only a couple of months before he got fired.

If RFK is ready to do all the progressive things Erick mentioned he won’t last that long.

He's a Kennedy, usually enough said but being in favor of full term abortion adds to a big NO

Again, I'm watching what Senator Hawley says and does...not a cat turd. Hawley is answerable to his constituents - cat turds and Erick are not.

"Kennedy believes Lyme disease was a military plot."

Hi, Erick, I have lived in "woo-woo" land since being stuck down with Lyme disease in Kentucky after starting seminary at SBTS in 1991. It took 17 years to get anyone to test for it (Positive), and 24 years from onset for someone to aggressively treat it. All out of pocket because insurance companies actively discourage 'mainstream' doctors to test for it (or treat it), because those long term drugs cost big money. People with the CDC contract out to work with insurance companies. As a result the CDC's policy was that chronic Lyme disease did not exist, creating a whole population of terrified, going broke people being dismissed by their doctors, friends and family because the CDC was telling said doctors, friends and family that their chronic illness did not exist. For the outrageousness of woo-woo land, see on YouTube the movie "Under Our Skin," also the book "Cure Unknown." The truth I and others have lived is crazier than one can imagine.

Has Lyme disease been weaponized? Maybe. Who the hell knows. I have heard the stories of buckets of ticks infected with weaponized Lyme being dumped out of planes onto Cuba during the Cold War. Also dumped into Russia. Also that Russia did the same to us. The Chinese version of the "CDC" says that 6 out of 10 of the Chinese show the presence of Lyme disease in their blood tests.

I also know that Lyme is listed in old veterinary books for farmers from the late 1800s as a sweating sickness of farm animals, and farmers were Very afraid of it. Wikipedia gives the history of Lyme going nack hundreds of years.

People commit suicide from Lyme disease because they can't afford sufficient treatment for it, or because the medications have stopped working or weren't sufficiently effective. So that said, it becomes easier to say Lyme diease is weaponized when so many are suffering through an iceberg disease like this.

My sincere sympathies and understanding. I had a very similar experience navigating our “healthcare” system for my daughter who also tested positive. It’s a long, tough road, and there’s just enough weirdness to how the CDC treats it, or in this case, doesn’t treat it, to lend credence to the possibility that there’s more to this awful bacteria than what we’re told.

I listened to some of the hearing. He just sounded like he was guessing at the answers most of the time. Doesn’t inspire confidence at all. I hope he’s rejected. Then Trump has a clear path to pick a more credible candidate. He’s fulfilled whatever obligation he had by nominating him, but the guy blew it big time

There has got to be someone else out there who can take on the pharmaceutical industry, the junk that is in our food, and the drug addiction problem without all of the lunacy of RFK jr. Abortion at birth is an abomination. I don’t believe in abortion at all unless the life of the mother is at risk or in case of rape or incest.

You would think if there were a real conservative willing to do those things, someone would have mentioned a name or that conservative would be standing up hollering that he was available to do it. I am all for it if there is one.

Has anyone ask Dr. Ben Carson or the surgeon general from Florida, I don’t know his name..?

I really don't know. I really like Dr. Carson but I think that surgeon general from Florida would be an even better choice. And he just might be inclined to tackle the food, pharma, drug issue too.

Stated as facts, though there are equally compelling statements from him and what he has written that dispute these "facts". I have watched some of the interrogations, or in some cases just pontifications by those opposed to knowing what he actually thinks. Now I understand that those of us willing to give him a chance to make significant changes to food policy, pharma policy, and dealing with addiction are now to be vilified as equally monstrous. Exactly what the left does when someone "steps out of line".

“He believes in aggressive government gun control.” Doesn’t that run counter to the Constitution???

Expand full comment

I think you are correct on his opinion on gun control. Which I oppose with every fiber of my being. So it he abandons his stated mission of working on food, pharma and drug addiction, fire him. According to both he and Trump, he will adhere to Trumps direction on issues like abortion and gun control. If he does, and sticks to his word on the other things, I am willing to give him a chance. I have heard no one offer up a name, nor any conservative step up, to tackle the three items he has as his mission.

Also, according to Federal Election Commission filings, his PACs diverted $700,000 or so to places controlled by the Libertarian Party National Chair, who had cooperated in setting the joint fundraising committee Kennedy Victory Fund which used Libertarian Party resources to raise money for Kennedy's Presidential campaign rather than the Libertarian Party's Presidential campaign.
