Of course, no one in the Legacy media points out that not a single Republican senator has sugned on to Rick Scott's plan.

And as for making the wealthiest Americans pay their "fair share" - they already pay FAR more of the percentage of total income taxes paid than their share of total income earned wiuld require.

The absolute gas-lighting going on in his "Ultra-MAGA" characterization is breath-taking. No pushback, just acceptance from the feeble-minded reporters - "yeah, has the 'ring of (my preferred) truth', must be true"

It is impossible for a person without passion, conviction, commitment, knowledge or empathy to deliver a speech to convince anyone of anything. It is sad to me. Even if I do not agree with his policies, I could have more respect for a President taking responsibility and trying to improve.

Mr. Biden lied on the campaign trail; lied during the debates; lied on Inauguration Day and lies everyday when he speaks to the American people. Is there anyone in the media or in the Republican Party that will call him out? Crickets!

In the spirit of "If you can't say something nice" I'll say that's a great-looking suit. Do you think it was paid for with Burisma money or with a Hunter Biden original painting? Either way, I'm sure it's legit. Otherwise, we would've heard about it through the media, right??

Nicely stated and praying for it to come to fruition.

Hopefully you are right regarding the red wave this fall. Though the GOP can be the stupid party, look what happened in your home state in 2020. Even Senator Scott sounds like a weasel trying to defend his proposed agenda and that’s with the sympathetic Fox News team. Have to agree with Senator Mitch on not being supportive of Scott’s agenda.

I'm taking exception to something Erick wrote: That the President knows when a blow out is coming. Biden is, at best, senile. But I really think that we are seeing dementia setting in and that he is not actually cognizant of much of what is going on.

Would be nice to get veto proof majorities so we can right the ship of state.

Nice thought but the Republicans have too many weasels who look out for themselves

November can't come soon enough and I pray the GOP doesn't figure out some way to massively screw up what should be a tidal wave. It is truly frightening we have 2 more years of his "leadership."

I never listen to what he has to say as the Council on Foreign Relations is in control. We ALL need to prepare for the dollar losing it value, gold going over the top, and shortages on ALL things we will need in the next few years. It is coming and coming soon.

There is no humility in the President or his people. Whatever happens is never their fault. I can put a lot more trust in a leader who is willing to publicly admit to mistakes made. No human is perfect, and we should learn from our mistakes.

What scares the heck out of me is what’s going to happen in the next 2 and half years. Can this ship ever be righted or is it going to sink. And I am tired of the Republicans saying wait until November. Do something now or at least let us know what you are going to do to fix this. Give us some hope, please.

I remember in 2010, they said "give us control of the House", they got control of the house, and didn't do much with that. In 2014, they said "we need to control the Senate as well", they got control of the Senate, and again, didn't do much with that. In 2016, they had complete control, but they spent most of their time fighting over impeachment and Trump for two years and the Democrats got control of the House again. Now Democrats have complete control, and they're saying "We can't do anything, because of the Democrats"...and I have a sad feeling that even IF they get control of Congress, they aren't going to do anything that might lessen the power and control of the federal government, so we'll go through the same cycle over and over again.

They need to cover all the bases. There was one that they need. A Republican has to elected Pope first. Then things will change. (Sarcasm)

The Republican's know what is going to happen as a number of them are members of the C on FR as well and they know that it is a waste of time to plan a future for the USA at this time. That is why WE NEED to make our own plans.

Pennsylvania! Pennsylvania! Pennsylvania! The only significant opposition to the Democratic Party machine in Philadelphia during the past 4-5 years was Bill McSwain as federal prosecutor. The Democrats' machine may already be making fraudulent mail ballots for the 2022 and 2024 elections.

Agree. It would be nice to see a clear and concise description of what the Republican Party stands for today - in the context of the NOW and not the past or by the media, et al. Let’s move on and get it together.
