The faces on that panel just fracture me. Like, this never occurred to them?!

This _defines_ "elephant in the room"! Couldn't be better if a real one were sitting on their table.

A colossal joke, it is.

Hence, the big division in our country. We have people who work and expect to take care of themselves and their families. On the other side, we have people who expect the government to take care of them and their families. Where does government get the money to take care of those in the second category? From those in the first category who end up overburdened taking care of themselves and the other half of the country. Hard for all of us to get along when only half(or less) are taking care of the whole country.

When you realize that both candidates can directly influence the economy , one in a bad way the other in a better way, but the candidates being offered up could not hold a candle to our previous leaders of our past, it makes the election outlook appear gloomy. We are offered a hammer looking for a nail to smash beyond recognition and a candidate who, 5 minutes ago, was labeled a blithering idiot to all those , democrats included, who heard her word salad/verbal garbage. We have a candidate that under threat of political death cannot stay on message as he prefers to hear the sound of his own voice and a candidate who will be a figurehead as the academia in the current group running the government are planning to run it under the Harris administration. What a choice.

It looks like the whole CNN group (almost certainly Democrat voters) is staring at him in disbelief that he would dare to speak the truth. The Dems have ruled over the greater part of this mess America is in and they dare to assert they are the solution. I disagree.

The dems and republicans aren’t even close in their message and policies. Made apparent by the two conventions.

Republicans were all about America and its people.

The dem convention is all about them. They trot out their candidates like idols and the sheeple clap in unison like seals.

This is not the way it used to be. Both parties had their messages about their policy but they were both united in the cause of freedom and America.

Republicans are still in on that. Dems have turned on America and freedom. It’s all about them. That’s all they care about.

Trump showed a modicum of desperately needed modulation in Michigan. If he does not stay in that lane, focus strictly on top issues ( no dirth of material) and reverts, even momentarily to supercilious remarks, he could lose '24. And his legacy will be the man that lost America.

First of all if there is one thing I have learned in 4 years is that Dems do exactly what they want. 2nd thing is they lie, lie, lie and cheat, and third thing I have learn that if Trump loses he dug his own hole with his mouth.

If Trump cares for the country like he says, then he needs to watch his mouth and just stick to the issues. If not, I agree, if Trump looses, he has himself to blame. The week of the RNC he was so positive and the atmosphere was strong, but it seems as soon as he heard Kamala was running, it seem to knock the wind out of him. I pray I am wrong. he wanted everyone to show everyone just how bad Biden was, and he did, so the Dem. hate Trump so much, they were willing to choose a woman they had been trying to push to the side, to run in his place. Maybe he should not have let them see. We all just need to pray he can win, I have heard so many people say, they can not do four more years of the dems having control. They can't afford basic needs now!!!!!!

There IS a process to remove a president from office. Why did the Dems not do it that way? At least the 'look' would have been better to me.

An obvious takeaway is that, for those who do not have a grain of truth to back their claims, the undecided voter has to be convinced that they should hate Trump and Vance more than they hate the active destruction of America and our Constitution. Whatever the Republican is, they must be scorned, vilified. They remind me of Mat 11:18 -19. For John didn’t spend his time eating and drinking, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon. The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.”

Regarding Scott Jennings and his spot on comments about the Democrats owning the problems of the last 12 years… I love the stone faced commentators who listen to this and are trying hard to remember the talking points that they memorized to a respond to his point. The guy with the glasses always looks like he needs to pee and is trying his best to hold it in. The woman in the coral suit is just fishing for some shred of info to counter this with. She is glazed over with an empty brain. Go Scott! They have no clue.
