The Vietnam War lasted about 20 years and about 58,000 Americans got killed in it. WW 2 lasted about 4 years and about 400,000 Americans died in it. We are losing over 100,000 Americans a year now to drug overdoses and doing almost nothing about. That's more per year than got killed per year in WW 2 and almost twice as many as died during the 20 entire years of the Vietnam War. And as a drug and alcohol counselor, the problem is getting much worse. Yet our government is doing nothing about it.

Congratulations Erick! It's not only this administration--It's also the entire bunch in Washington. They all are doing nothing and that's a sad situation.

Congratulations Sir. They need to broadcast you all over the country.

It just boggles my mind that this administration can react to gun violence but not say a word about the drug cartels killings in this country.

Proud of you, brother! I still remember meeting you at Taste of Alpharetta some moons back. No lies detected in your commentary. I always say, “if they’d listen to Erick, problems would be solved!” Keep preaching it...one can only hope!

Big congratulations to you! Here's hoping my friends and family in the D.C. area will be able to get a daily dose of Erick Erickson on their FM dial in the very near future.

Congrats. Hard work pays off.

As for the border and the cartels, I am thinking about sending a copy of Tom Clancy's "Clear and Present Danger" to the White House.

Cheers

So that somebody can read it to Biden at beddy-bye time? Hahaha.

Follow the Money. You can bet someone in our government is making money from this situation.

Hence the hands off approach from our do nothing government .

Nice Richard. Especially the lawyers and accountants. Given my current tendency toward cynicism, there are government players in this as well ...

Congrats on the Compass Media deal…! Since we moved from Powder Springs to Gulf Shores, AL I don’t listen to local radio… I just stream WSB while you’re on. I’ll have to find a local station and send them your link, though.

Congratulations, Erick! Well done. You are a hard worker and have a beautiful heart ❤️ God bless you.

For the cartels, they must be destroyed. For our current enemies in the White House? How about a good old-fashioned coup? Two more years of their destroying the United States is a frightening thought. God bless and protect us.

It’s well past time we take the cartels out. Congrats on the contract, Erick!

1. Great news on WSB and Compass Media Network! Congratulations!

2. Let's include the China drug factories in your call to action. We have the evidence of shipments out of China into Mexico. If there's one issue that could unite Americans...it's this one.

I sympathize that this may be a bipartisan issue. But it’s clear the dems are in it for nefarious reasons. A few hundred American lives sacrificed so they can retain power is just fine with them.

They were after all and continue to be ok with 1 million+ Americans dying from what we now know is a China virus leaked from a lab.

They didn’t and won’t do a thing about that. No way they do anything about this.

And I get what the mother is saying but honestly she is incorrect. Even if China or Al Queda was sitting on our southern border with tanks and an army. Biden would still do nothing.

This admin is completely benign. Unwilling to do anything or fight.

Correction, we don't know Covid came from a lab. The whole criticism of the left over this issue was over their insistence that they "knew" Covid came from a wet market. Let's not make the same mistake by claiming to know something we don't.

All we "know" is it is possible, maybe even likely, it came from a lab.

Covid and Hunter’s lap top have a lot in common ,a lot of people are saying there nothing to see here and we all know better

Why is this so hard? I just don’t understand.

Well partly because they operate out of Mexico, a sovereign nation. And that government seems reluctant to address the situation.

And we seem reluctant to do anything meaningful to address the demand issue. As long as demand is so high, someone will find a way to supply that demand.
